Avraella tossed her back onto her back and stepped up to the building. "I hate school." She muttered under her breath.

It was painfully bright outside, even though it was partly cloudy. Marq's eyes hadn't yet adjusted, even though he'd been outside for about 15 minutes. He refused to wear sunglasses; how gay would that look, wearing darkened lenses despite the weather?
His gaze fell upon a girl he vaguely knew. Avraella, was it?
"Hey Avra," he said, only loud enough for her to hear.

Avraella looked up, shocked. Marq had never even talked to her before. Why now? She grinned, walking up to him. "Hey!" She said. It was really happening, right? Or had she fallen asleep in math class again? Hopefully not. She sleep talked... and walked... and back-talked... She didn't want yet another detention.

Marq allowed her a slight smile. He had to skip his breakfast because he'd woken up late, so he was a little out of it.
He flipped some stray hairs out his eyes. I should get a haircut.
"I like your shirt," he said, because he couldn't really think of anything else. He wasn't too experienced with girls, even though he was allowed to date.
