Niamh shrugged, “How else will I get back to the house?” She asked, turning to Snowfoot.

[Bartimaeus]

Snowfoot grinned, picking up the girl and slowly carrying her across the mud.

Niamh giggled as Snowfoot picked her up. “You better not drop me.” She laughed.

[Bartimaeus]

Snowfoot swung her round, pretending to lose his grip on the girl. Laughing, he put Niamh down safely on the wooden floor.

Niamh laughed, letting out a small, playful scream when Snowfoot pretended to lose his grip. “Thanks.” She giggled as he let her down onto the floor.

[Bartimaeus]

"Welcome." Snowfoot smiled, stepping out of the cold and shutting the door behind him. He turned and passed back through the little white door, and into the halls.

Niamh followed Snowfoot into the hallway again. “Are we going to eat soon?” She asked, beginning feeling hungry.

Snowfoot shrugged. "If you want."

Niamh nodded, “Well, I’m kind of hungry. I’ll admit, ‘milky potatoes’ isn’t very filling” She smiled.

Snowfoot laughed. "How about a fish pie? Would that fill you up?"
