-Name's usually include 'O' and 'Mc' [eg. O’Neill]
-Mostly live in Ulster
-Lived Irish life style and used Brehon laws*.
*Explained later

Old English/ Anglo-Irish
-Descendants of Normans.
-Names usually include 'Fitz' [eg. Fitzpatrick]
-Mostly lived in Muster and Midlands
-Lived Irish life style and used Brehon laws.
-They were said to be 'more Irish than the Irish'

The Pale
-From England
-Popular names include 'Plunklett'
-Lived in The Pale [area around Dublin] and walled cities.
-Lived English life style and used English common law.

She is very thin as a result of malnutrition since her family were kicked off their land. Her clothes are basically rags.

Niamh stood outside the small home she shared with her large family. She used to live in a much bigger house that was burnt down when the land was taken off them for rebelling and given to the Land Lord. Niamh had never seen or met the landlord, but that was normal, since he probably owned a lot of land and couldn't visit every tenant. Today was the day the rent was usually paid, and she expected the landlord’s right hand man to come collect it. Her family did not have the money, just like the last time it was being collected. Last time they just got a warning, but this time she feared they may take action. All her family were gone to the bog. Leaving her the only one home, this made her evening more worried.

((xD Maybe Snow or something can come to collect the rent? xD I don't how else he can come into to the story yet P:))

(Forget it, it's so awkward calling him Peter. -_-)

Snowfoot(stupid name for a person) brushed the hair from his brow, feeling the warmth surround him in the car. "Excuse me," he called to the driver, "Excuse me! Can you please wind down a window? It's terribly stuffy in here..." The driver did as he asked, winding down the back windows to the large black car with elegant seats made of soft, fancy fabrics and leather. "How much further do we have to go before we reach this stupid little village?" The driver did not respond.

Snowfoot rolled his eyes with a deep and loud cough. "Are you deaf? Did you not hear me? I was asking you a question, it is polite to repond!" The driver removed one hand from the wheel to change gears. (don't you dare tell me cars weren't invented back then. I will break down and cry)

"... I don't know, sir." The driver choked out as Snowfoot placed a hand to his forehead, muttering under his breath.

I actually thought you meant one of those car thing things pulled by horses P:Anyhow, I’m not going to get angry over a little detail about a car xD))
Niamh combed her fingers through her hair, and sighed. She didn’t like waiting, it was cold, wet and miserable. She didn’t want to have to try and plead with the landlord. She sat herself down outside the small home. Waiting and watching for any sign of the landlord.

Eventually, Snowfoot's car pulled up in a small narrow country lane. The face of revolt on Snow's face as he stepped outside in a puddle of half-dry mud. He looked up to see a girl standing before him, in an ugly pinefore with her hair tied back into a messy bun(hope that isn't powerplaying, just how I imagined her. I can change this bit if you like).

Niamh stared at the black car; she bit her lip as Snowfoot stepped out of the car. She stared at the car, she had never seen one of them. Her attention when back to the man. She had two options, plead with him, or pretend not to speak English. She stayed quiet, waiting to see what he would do. “Um...” She murmured.

Snowfoot's face remained expressionless. "Well then, are you the owner of this property?" He shook his head. "It doesn't matter, just inform them that I will be in charge around here. You will follow English law, and stay in line. Rebellions will lead to more drastic action." He eyeballed the girl, who was evidentally quaking in her pale and mucky shoes. "I have been given your land by the monarch to ensue that this will not happen again. Further intollerance is unacceptable, and you will learn your place. Now hand over the rent, and get out of my sight."
