-Isabelle-
Iz watched Jackson with a calm curiosity as her mother then wrapped the cotton-y gauze stuff around the human's wounds. She let her wings fold loosely against her back, so they didn't get in the way of anything. The space was not narrow, but her wings were not small.
"If you have any useful words, now would be the time to tell me." Iz's mother said as she worked, adding a sticky herb-smelling substance to the stab wound that would hopefully act in place of stitches before binding it with the wrap. "If not, then you need rest. It may be more useful than anything else." She rasp, tying off the last knot in the gauze.
Isabelle half-closed her eyes and looked away, scanning the small bookstore area, as if there might be a threat. She saw nothing though, only long shadows born from the dim lighting being blocked by the tall book cases.
-Chance "Moose"-
Chance got to his feet with the aid of Jasmine. He stood there for a moment, adjusting to the glasses. Then he followed her, looking around as if it would help clear the slight blur. When the floor-to-ceiling painting slid sideways to show an old door, however, he focused on that. "It's not another passage that leads to shiny things, is it?" He asked, a touch of both hopefullness and cautious tainting his tone- shiny things were lovely, but not if they led to another fire-bending halfling who stole glasses and hated humans.
