Eli watched Sonja as he turned to walk back over to where his tea cup sat. He picked it up and took a sip as he listened to her, but by now it had grown cold. He grimaced at it and then walked over to the sink to poor it out. The tea water splashed over the remains of the phone that Shax had destroyed. He would help clean that up later. He then turned back to look at Sonja as she finished speaking, but when she blushed and looked away, he walked over to her.
Placeing a finger beneath her chin and turned her head and tilted it upwards to face him. His caramel eyes locked with hers and he merely gazed at her for a moment. "As far as I am concerenced," he began softly, "I mind as well not be human. The revolution is about proving to the idiots out there that halfings are no different then humans and should be treated as such. It works the same way in reverse." When he had finished speaking, he couldn't help but continue to look into her eyes. They were so beautiful; like a window into her soul. He waited silently for her to speak next.
