- Yeah. I could write that, I suppose- if I was working on my story. But in roleplay, it's like...I can't, lol. Oh well, maybe one day~
-Nile
Nile wandered into his kitchen. He ran a clawed hand along the tile but didn't stop in that room. He had to go through the kitchen to get to his bedroom, which is where he kept most of his research things. He left the kitchen and walked down the hallway, wings almost grazing the walls. He turned into his room and sat at the desk, which held a computer on one side, and on the other many books, papers, ect. All neatly organized. He gazed across the desk, wondering what to do. It was obvious he had to much time on his hands- everything was done. He frowned and rolled the chair to the left, so that it was in front of the computer. He typed in his password and then Firefox. The first thing he went to was his email. He really didn't like technology a whole lot, but he noticed it was quite useful in many ways.
As usual, he had a lot of emails. He scrolled through, looking for the most important ones. Most were already read. Almost all of the new ones were about halflings- whether they were insults, curious people, or halflings themself.
-Rebeca-
Beca hesitated. She wasn't sure if she wanted to hand over her book. Weird thing, she was picky about her books. At least the ones about knives. She'd gladly hand over a math or algebra book. But the girl, who introduced herself as Zoe, didn't seem to be the kind of person who steals books. She she gently held out the book, thinking back to which page she had been on. "You like knives?" She asked curiously.
-Chance "Moose"-
"Well, actually, it's just us." Chance's father said, hardly seeming bothered by the fact that this was bad news for his son. "Me, your Aunt, and your cousin. We're going to Florida for Check's birthday."
"Why can't I come?" Chance asked, his anger slowly rising. Why was his father bragging about going on vacation with his sister and nephew, but not his son? Chance narrowed his blue eyes.
"I didn't think you'd want to go. And we need someome to watch the house." His father said, not seeming to notice the anger in Chance's voice. Check gave his cousin a sheepish look, then his eyes fell to the ground.
"That's not fair." Chance said angrily, knowing it was really no good to argue though. "You're not even taking your own son. He's my cousin- I should be able to go. If it's because you can't afford it, well, we've always made due with parties here. And besides, Check is almost to old for birthdayparties anyway!"
"Chance!" His father growled. "Go to your room, now." He ordered, pointing a stern finger toward the stairs.
Chance stared at his father for a long moment, then pushed his glasses up on his nose and turned, walking not toward his room, but to the door. Before his father could say anything else, he'd left the house and instantly turned and ran around the side. His dad would probably assume he'd gone straight to town, or something. So hiding until he'd left would be a good idea. He peered around the corner of the house, to see if his dad had come out, but he hadn't. Figures. Did he even care?[/i]
