Aria laughed again. "I wish I'd seen that," she said. "Tell me another."

"It was entertaining.' Erik chuckled, "Another hmm... When Kylar first met Nacht, let's just say Nacht didn't like him. And Kylar, being all that he is, is terrified of mice. So somehow Nacht found this out and he began hiding mice everywhere, dead of course, which, well made Kylar scream like a girl whenever he found one in his boots or bed. But then Nacht brought in a live one one night and dropped in on Kylar, I swear I have never seen someone jump that high from a dead sleep to being wide awake." he chuckled softly, those his eyes filled with sorrow at the thought of his now dead hawk that had been his companion for years.

Aria smiled. "Afraid of mice, huh? Well, I'll make sure to log that away..." She smiled. "Why the long face?" she asked, noticing the sorrow in his eyes.

Erik nodded silently, "Nacht was killed by those creatures." he said softly as he continued working on the meal.

"Oh," she said sullenly. "I didn't realize... I'm sorry."

Erik continud working on the meal, he was beginning to wonder if Rachelle would even return.

Aria looked around, noting Rachelle's conspicuous absense. "So, um... did you two get in a fight?"

Erik nodded with a soft sigh, "Unfortunately we did, I made her feel like I did not love her." he replied.

"Oh..." she said. She bit her lip, unsure what to say. "I'm sure she'll come around soon. She loves you, so she won't stay away for long."

Erik sighed softly and nodded as he looked at the table, his mouth a thin line.
