Aria shrugged. "To spend more time with his brother," she suggested. She met his eyes and her brow furrowed. "Are you alright?" She asked.

"Maybe." Kylar replied, he looked back at her, "Yes, I am fine, why?" he questioned as he studied her face. He climbed back over the fence and dropped down beside her, "Do I not look alright?" he asked as he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close, "You seemed to think I looked more then alright earlier, or was that just a lie?" He looked down at her, his forehead nearly touching hers as his dark eyes pierced into her very soul it seemed. They lacked the warmth they possessed before, they were very cold, and very empty, not very pleasant to be stared down with.

Chills ran up her spine. "No," Aria said. "Actually... you look much healthier than I'd expect." She couldn't meet his eyes; they unnerved her. "Healthier than Lisette by a long shot."

"Maybe that is because I am stronger then her, had you ever thought of that?" he asked, his grip was tight, so she could not even move an inch. "She was bitten twice also, more then I was so does that not make sense?" he asked her, his voice had gone cold and hard. No more inflection of caring, it was harsh, almost like he was trying to scare her into admitting she thought something was wrong. This was not the Kylar she had been with before, he had been guarded, but this was downright cold and soulless. It was no longer him hiding emotions, it was a total lack of them. His eyes were barren of any such warmth or even feelings, they were desolate, dark pits.

Ari shoved at him, but it did no good. "Let go," she said, her voice irritated and stronger than she felt. "What's wrong with you?" She glared at him again but now his eyes truly did frighten her so she looked away again.
Skoal shifted anxiously, his ears winging back.

"What is wrong with me? What is wrong, with me?" Kylar asked, his voice more like a hiss. "He wass right you know, there isss no longer a sssoul in thisss body, it isss a vessssssel for usss." His voice had changed, no longer did it sound like Kylar's voice, it was hallow and nasally, it was accent-less. His stature had change, his shoulders were hunched and his head was forward, he looked more, vulture like. "You ssshall be a good breeder for ussss, ssstrong one you are...."

Aria shook her head as if denying it would make it not so. "No," she said, shoving at him roughly. "No, you freak let me go!"

"Lisette sat on a chair outside, letting the sun and fresh air seep into her skin. The children were al lthree rushing about, doing various chores as she instructed since she couldn't do them. Jack, too, took on the harder jobs, then went out to start doing his own work.

Skoal reared, and shook his head.
Lilly came into the barn (((either just then, or after whatever else you wanted to say ))) to fetch the chicken corn. Her eyes widened, she dropped the bucket she held.

A cruel, grimace like smirk was on the face that now only resembled Kylar's. As soon as she spoke everything changed, his eyes went back to their soft honey gold colour. He had straightened up, and looked like Kylar again, he kit the ground when she shoved him, he looked shocked, and hurt. He looked at Lilly and Aria, unsure and confused, "I am sorry...?" he said as he backed away. It was clear he had no memory about what had just happened. He slowly got up and moved away from them, not liking how they looked so scared of him, and how Aria seemed to angry with him. He looked at the horses, who both seemed spooked and just turned and walked away.

For once, Aria didn't follow. She stayed, shaking, beside the riled horses. Her heart was beating rapidly, her eyes wide. She felt as though she'd just been embraced by death.
Lilly watched nervously. "Aria, are you okay?" she asked. "What just happened?" She picked up her bucket and watched Kylar walk away.

Kylar sat in the woods, confused, he looked down at his hands, which were shaking slightly. He sighed softly and leaned against a tree, looking at the sky he wondered why she seemed to hate him, he had just went to hug her and she called him a freak, had he mis-read her? He rubbed his face and closed his eyes, what kind of terrible person was he?"
