"I don't know!" She rubbed her forehead, not realizing she was crying until she noticed the little circles of dark in the fabric of her dress. "I don't know."

Erik looked at her, he sighed as he sat down by her and hugged her gently, "I am sorry." he said softly as he looked at her.

"I do not see why," she said with a misserable attempt of a laugh.

Normally I'd say something like 'Geeze, pull yourself together!' but I don't think that'd go over well right now.

Hey, it's not my fault you can hear stuff I don't mean to tell you.

Erik sighed as he looked at her, he shook his head as he stood up and paced again, his side throbbing slightly.

Rachelle sat back and waited for him to finnish whatever it was he was doing.

Erik had to stop after awhile, his side hurting to much to continue.

"What is wrong? You act as though you are hurt."

Erik shook his head, "It's from before." he replied as he looked at her.

"What happened before?! Did He hurt you again?" She remembered back to her time with him before Medeia had happened and everything else had been ruined. She remembered the scars on his back, the previously fresh wounds that were now probably just more scars. I hate Him. I really, truely, from the depths of my soul hate Him. "Wait, did you ever get that diamond?"

No, stupid, not Erik. The man who raised Erik. Just look at my stupid memories, is that not enough reason to hate anybody?

"No, from the mansion." Erik replied as he sighed. It had happened when Rachelle showed up and he had been distracted, getting shot with an arrow for his inattentiveness. He looked at her, "Yes,I did." he replied as he studied her.
