"I am mad at myself." Erik replied as he looked over at her, he looked for Sang and Nuit.

Nuit licked Rachelle's hand, he could feel the stress and sadness radiating from her. Sang shoved her muzzle against Rachelle's neck, snuggling her too-big face against her master's chin.

Rachelle smiled at the wolves, appreciating their attempts. "Why?"

"Because this is my fault, I should have known you would have followed me, I should have told you so it would never have happened." Erik replied.

Rachelle didn't know what to say.

Tell him it's not his fault. Tell him that even if he'd told you you would have gone.

"I would have anyway. Followed you, I mean."

Erik sighed softly, he looked at her, "Do you distrust me so much?" he asked her softly.
