"This young pup is quite the handfull." she said in human.She looked at Riot, her mouth tilting into a frown. "Wait. Can you understand them?" He froze, then shook his head. She narrowed her eyes.

Leah didn't move at grist then she put the pup down got a coat and headedfor the window, she had to leave something was going on and it freaked her out, the pup wined and yelped as she headed towards the window, she looked back at it only to see it following her, she sighed.

"Good luck with that, Tear. That little pup likes you." Zach said quietly. He couldn't hlep feeling a pang of emotion at seeing Leah again. He held out his hand, and in it was a letter. She hesitantly took it.

She showed no emotion but on the inside she felt most all of them, she was happy to see him but upset and angry at the same time. She looked at the letter and flipped it open. Reading it, the puppy yelped up at her wanting to be the center of her attention, she picked up the dog and continued to read.

Zach watched her face anxiously. In his head, he repeated the words he'd written.
Dear Leah,
I hope that you are not upset with me in any way. Anyway, no matter how you think of me,
I consider you a dear friend. I hope that you are well, and if there is anything you need, do
not hesitate to come to me. Ask any of my sources, and they will tell you where to find me.
You will know them by three diagonal clawmarks across their left palm. I truly wish you well,
even if you have decided to stay away from me forever. Thank you for your brief company,
and I wish you a long life.

She looked at him sadly and hugged him, "I can't stay with you, I want to, but I don't want to pull you into my problems like I did with the others, I don't want to loose you like I lost them," she said sadly walking back to the window, leavingvthe pup and taking the note, she jumped out the window and into the cold sadly, hearing the pup whyne and cry.

He called her back, and saw her pause. "At least take the pup." he said quietly. "If you train her, she will be able to aid you."

"I haven't had a meal in days, how am I supposed to get food for it?" she asked looking at him, looking at him even made her feel bad, and made her rethink leaving him, she walked to the window and took the pup hesitantly.

Zach imediately tossed her a pack filled with food. It would have been a burden to a human, but with her strength, she would be fine. He silently turned away, unable to face her at the moment. "Good luck."

Her mind told her to yell, "I need you Zach, come with me!" but she didn't it hurt her badly not too at least say how she felt about him when she left but all she mumbled was, "you too," she held onto the pup and put the backpack on, with every step she took away from him she felt heartbreak and depression creeping over her, she held the pup close to her keeping it warm and happy I'm the cold winter wind.
