[The Plague Doctor]

"She has no memory from before she was fourteen. From what I've gathered, she had every memory from her life until she was ten, when it vanished. She collected memories for four years after that, then it was wiped again. That was when I found her in a mental institution, where I took her on as my apprentice. She was a Vampire, but somehow had that taken away from her. She seems like an ordinary human now."

[...Doll...]

She looked at him curiously and then said, "How?"

[The Plague Doctor]

He shrugged. "I have no idea whatsoever. All I know is what I've told you." He shrugged again, and slung his feet up onto the couch. With that, he was asleep.

[...Doll...]

She walked into the room with the pups and layed on the bed she heard a small whining sound and looked towards it. One of the pups had somehow gotten on the bed with her and was having trouble walking she lifted the puppy up and layed it beside her keeping it warm. She fell asleep with the pup and dreamt about Zach.

Onyx twitched. She awoke slowly to seven voices.
"Momma is gone. She left us."
"Can we trust this human?"
"She seems nice."
"She's a human. They don't understand us."
"Well, isn't that expected? We don't understand them."
"Yeah, we don't. So why should they?"
"Is Momma really gone?"
The tiny voices filled her ears, and she pried her eyes open. "Who's there, and who're you talkin' 'bout?" she slurred. She stared right into the startled faces of the tiny pups. They stared at her, and she stared at them. The smallest one was the first to speak. "You can understand us?" she whispered. Onyx simply nodded slowly. The pups looked at each other, then looked to Onyx. "Are you our momma now?" the smallest one asked quietly. Onyx nodded. "I suppose I am." She was good at taking things in stride. Tear looked up. "Why're you growling?" she asked sleepily. Onyx shrugged, and Tear did the same before going back to sleep.

She layed back down after the odd thing that had just occurred she put her arm around the small dog cuddling up to her she didn't fal asleep immediately because the pup licked her until her eyes opened again. She opened her eyes and looked at the small white dog with blue eyes. She smiled at it and then whispered, "sleep..."

Onyx awoke to loud human sounding voices. "I'm coming in, no matter what you say."
"I don't think so."
"Wanna bet?"
"Sure."
"Really? Well you are simply a human, a weak one at that."
"I am not- Hey! I said you can't enter!"
"Let me in, dang it!"
"No!"
"Let me pass!"
"Not a freaking chance!"
After the last line, there was a sound of scuffling.
"What is goin' on here?" she yelled, bursting into the room. Two guys were in a tangled mess of a fight. One was Xan, the other the kid named Riot that looked creepily like herself.

[...Doll...]

Leah sat up her eyes wide at the sound if the familiar voice, she stood up picking up the whining pup that was once asleep at her side, she saw Zach and Xander.

Riot pointed to himself. "My house!" with that, he stomped past a bloody nosed Xander who was looking extremely mad. Riot went past, mumbling things about people taking his things. He went up a small ladder to a sort of attic. Onyx heard the pups whining, and went to them. "Who is that?" the oldest asked. "An annoyance." she repplied. "But nothing to worry about." The pup puffed out it's chest, and straightened up. "I'll take care of him." he said. His voice was still so tiny that it was hysterical as he scrambled out of the room. The rest followed to observe. Onyx did the same. "I'll get him, momma! I'll get him!" he yelped. She heard him doing a cute imitation of growling. She saw Tear holding another pup. "Where did that one come from?" she muttered. She counted the pups around her, and counted the oldest. Seven. She looked to one of the pups bellow her. "That one was hiding behind older brother last night." it explained. She looked at the oldest. He was clinging to Riot's pant-leg with his tiny teeth. Riot was smiling. "Enough, little one." Onyx growled gently. He stopped abrubtly, and skittered over to her, wagging his tiny tail. "I got him, Momma! I got him!" he squeeked happily. Onyx laughed. "Yes, you did." Riot was chuckling too.

Leah raised an eyebrow in curiosity, "What's so funny?" she asked ghost, a little afraid she was schizofranic.
