Asylum (Semi Lit)

Xero nodded, pretending that that made sense to him, even though he had no idea what a cat was. Ronan sighed. "Ignorant, as always," she murmured. She glanced over at Axel. "That is Axel right now, right?" she asked Verran.

Verran nodded, "Yeah, at the moment." Axel was a little dissoriented, but he sighed, rubbing his head. "Man, I have the worst headache..." He murmered, sighing.

((Hahaha yah his poems have always fascinated me. The Raven gave me nightmares when I first read it, I believe I was in 8th grade XP ))

Ronan glanced over at Axel, glad he was acting much more normal now. "What hotel are we staying at?" she asked, looking around. Xero stood up, walking over to them while the cat stayed where he left it, licking its paw. Xero cocked his head to one side, then to the other, mumbling something indistinct.

"A red lion, I believe it is." Verran said, sighing as he started walking again. Axel tailed along beside Ronan, his green eyes directed towards the ground.

Ronan nodded. "Alright," she said. "Actually, I think I've been to that hotel before...But it was in Arizona, not LA." She glanced up at the sky, trying to remember the hotel's name. "Yeah...It was when I was six, and we went to Phoenix for something." She smiled at the memory. But then my mom had to complain about the heat, and we left after just a week, she finished in her mind.

Verran nodded, "They're pretty nice." He continued walking, smiling. He thought long and hard about many things. Could he still go to collage by any chance? He knew he didn't have the whole highschool education thing done yet, but he could take online courses...

"Yeah..." Ronan said, lost in thought. She kept on walking, staying just a foot or so behind Verran, letting him lead. "Are you sure you know where we're going?" she asked. Xero yawned, walking a few paces behind everyone else. "Hurry up; I'm tired!" he said impatiently.

"We're here." Verran stopped suddenly, accidently making Ronan walk straight into him. The hotel sat in front of them, the main doors wide and inviting.
