Asylum (Semi Lit)

Raiden glanced towards the sides of his cell, away from Ayame's gaze. He sat there, unmoving and tense. Staying quiet was supposed to make people go away, so why had she come closer? Didn't she know that he wanted to be alone? That wasn't possible now, though. He didn't like it. This was the closest anyone but the guards had been to her in years, and he couldn't stand it.

Ayame Smiled cruely as she found a perfect place to attack. She grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him into a standing position and made him face her. "I gonna enjoy this!" She laughed cruely and started pushing him backwards into the cell wall. she slamed him against it and when she went to slam him against it again she felt herself being grabbed by a guard and she was off her feet and being pulled away from him.

"Hey! I wasn't done hurting him!" She clawed at the guards arms but she was unable to escape. The guards voice hissed in her ear "Oh I think you have done quite enough! You killed one of our guards!" She was dragged back into her cell and thrown onto the ground. Ayame got up and sprang at the nearest guard.

She was stopped short by a pair of strong arms and was pulled away from her victim again. "NO! Your making them angry! They will harm me if I don't kill!" She shouted as she was pinned to the wall by two guards.

[Simply Emotional]

Verran grabbed onto Axel, and using all of the strength he had he pulled him all the way back, standing in front of him. "Go away, Elizabeth." Verran told her, and Elizabeth didn't need to be told twice as she took off out the door. Axel stood there, staring at the place where she once stood. Verran looked up at him, and smacked him across the face, anger clearly shown on his own. "GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF! You're such an idot! We have to move quickly now because you caused a commotion!" Verran yelled, his mood changing again as he stormed down the stairs and into the kitchen. Axel's eyes closed as he shook, tears streaming down his cheeks. "We're sorry." He whispered to Ronan and Xero, falling down onto his knees. "We're so sorry."

Raiden just looked on, his expression apathetic as Ayame slammed him into the wall. It was like he didn't even notice her or the pain. When the guards dragged her away, he just fell back down onto the floor, his eyes half-closed. He justly there, not bothering to pull himself back up into a sitting position. It was like he didn't even care. Raiden closed his eyes, waiting for sleep to overcome him. It didn't, forcing him to stay awake for hours.

Ronan knelt down, placing a hand on Axel's shoulder. "It's fine," she said in an attempt to comfort him. "Really, don't worry about it. Verran is just being too cautious, that's all." She knew he was right, though. If Elizabeth reported them - and she was certain she would - the guard would be there in minutes. They would have to leave. And quickly.

Xero blinked, his expression neutral as he watched what was happening. He shrugged, following Verran into the kitchen. "I'm hungry," he said. "When are we leaving?" he asked, knowing that they wouldn't be staying for long. "Are we leaving now?"

"Uh-huh." Verran said, his mood dark. He threw Xero a PB&J, sighing as he walked towards the door. "Come on."

Axel wiped at his face, standing up, his black hood hiding the upper half of his face in shadows. "Let's go." He whispered, tears still running down his face as he began to walk down the stairs, stumbling slightly.

Xero took the sandwich and bit into it, gulping it down quickly. He looked over at Verran, innocence in his eyes as he followed him to the door.

Ronan walked behind Axel, nodding once. She sighed. "It's alright..." she murmured, reaching the bottom of the stairs. "Where are we going?" she asked Verran, because she wasn't familiar with the area and because Verran seemed like he would be more helpful than Axel right now.

Verran looked at her, "We'll get to the train station, I found some money in the kitchen, we can buy tickets and make our way to another town." Axel simply walked along beside them, silent, him and Rex compleatly quiet for the first time in a while.

Ayame Struggled to get free from the guards grasp but failed to. She screamed loudly "Hey someone help me!" Ayame was pushed onto the ground and the guards walked out of her cell and locked it again but placed a large chain around the other lock and locked them both. Ayame began one of her episodes and hit the wall with clenched fists and rammed against the cell door. she began kicking the guards through the spaces between the bars and managed to get her foot stuck. "Umm HELP ME NOW! MY FOOT IS STUCK!" she hissed at the guards but they just stayed were they were outside of the cell.

"Alright," Ronan said. She wondered which town they were going to. She wanted to go back to her home, but she knew that was impossible. Her parents would report her right away, and she would get thrown back into the asylum. Ronan sighed, stopping a tear from forming by wiping it away before it could flow down her cheek. She walked beside Verran, with Xero following close behind them.

Raiden flinched, hearing Ayame's voice. It was too loud for him, and he slmmed his palms into his ears, trying to block out the yells. It was useless, though, and he hit his head against the wall loudly, feeling pain shoot through his skull. "Please...Stop..." he whispered, wanting Ayame to stop.

Verran sighed, glancing around every once and a while as they walked. He bit his lip, feeling slight guilt overwhelm him, but passed it off as irritation. Axel however stayed silent, walking a few feet behind everyone else, staggaring along like a zombie.
