This is a world without Percy, Annabeth, Nico, or anyone else from the books. Chiron and beings like him are the few exceptions. If you aren't sure pm me.
Camp Half-Blood has been at peace- as much as a demigod camp can be with monsters and such. It is a place the children of Geek Gods go to escape the outside monsters. They all have powers, ranging from super intelligence to charmspeak. Some of them stay year round but for most, it is just a summer camp. The camp is surrounded by a border that does not allow any monsters into the camp. The border appeared centuries ago when the camp was first created. A child of Zeus died in that very spot and her father caused a pine tree to grow. As it grew, the barrier grew. The tree is still there. These half-humans half-gods use weapons crafted from celestial bronze, imperial gold, or, for a claimed child of Hades, stygian iron to kill these monsters. Monsters can smell demigods and if they have powerful enough parents, they would attack. Many kids aren't claimed by their godly parent right away. When claiming happens a symbol appears over their head showing which godly parent they have. Until that is figured out demigods stay in the Hermes cabin because Hermes is the god of travelers, among other things.
