"good," Luke reached the door of his mannor house.

[Lilo.]

"Luke, do you have a lady?" Emmaline asked, squirming away after she'd said it - because she thought it was a big, big mistake, you weren't usually meant to ask your masters or mistresses that sort of question.

"to be honest, no, howcome you want to know?" Luke asked wanting to know the answer. "what about you?"

[Lilo.]

"I was just wondering." Emmaline smiled smugly to herself, before pointing at her chest. "And me? Master, if I did have a Lady, I would be frowned upon. I am straight." For the first time, she gave a laugh. "I know what you meant, and no, I don't have a man."

Luke laughed, "thats a good joke," then he thought of snother question, " have you ever been in love?"

[Lilo.]

"No," Emmaline admitted, a little bit ashamed of this - for most girls her age, they had been in love allot of times, or had a crush, but her? No. Not until now. Sort of. "And you?" She asked, smiling upon him. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, so she could see.

"just one girl when i was younger and more handsome," Luke thought about his old girl. "im suprised that you havent had a man."

[Lilo.]

"Really?" Emmaline laughed. "I am in doubt of your words." With a sigh, she met Luke's eyes, although it was hard to tell if he was thinking the same thing of her. She pushed the thought out of her mind, replacing it with a new one. 'Too old for you.' Then, she registered what he'd been doing - practically almost flirting with her, and she'd never had that before, so it was kind of an excitement, in a way.

"well dont be," Luke walked into the warm house, "so what are you to do now?"

[Lilo.]

"I have nothing to do, now, I have finished everything. I am free, but not quite so literally." She laughed - hard to tell whether it was grim , depressed or real humour. A smile appeared, dimples surfacing her face, yet again. "And you?"
