Ms Nightingale smiled at the little girl. "It will be okay. Noting that no one seems to be gagging or passing out, it seeems that not much gas was released. Katherine, please blow it away, then come join us at breakfast. Everyone, come on. Will someone go fetch Finn and Callen?"

Abigail followed Ms Nightingale to the kitchen, to help her bring out the food as she did everyday. The ymbryne handed her a large, warm, covered dish. "Careful," she said, before taking two dishes herself. They walked towards the table together and placed them down before turning back for more.

Kat nodded obediently and opened two windows. Concentrating her power, she then summoned a wind that entered the room, swept over and around the area where Lauren had fallen, and then blew out the second window, where it carried the gas far away from the building. Kat repeated this several times, just to make sure that all of the gas was gone, then joined the others and sat down where her food had been placed.

History: She would frequently talk to her shadow as kids didn't like her and she would get bullied. Her parents thought she was crazy and talking to herself. One night, she heard her parents talking about sending her to a mental hospital the next morning. She she ran away and ended up with the other special children.

Ms Nightingale sat at the head of the table, her usual seat. "Eat, everyone. Where are Finn and Callen? I guess I'll get them. Please, don't throw your food while I'm gone." The ymbryne stood again and left the house.

Abigail opened a lid to find mashed potatoes. She took a scoop, then pushed the platter to the child sitting nect to her before reaching for another one.

Lauren walked into the room and sat down at her usual spot. Lauren was seated next to Abigail, a pretty girl that Lauren admired. Lauren wanted to wait for the others, because she has a weird, or perhaps a good habit of waiting for everyone to come and then start eating, but today, she was hungrier than usual, so the girl didn't wait. As Abigail slid a dish over, Lauren's eyes followed the dish, it was mashed potatoes!! One of Lauren's favourite dishes. Lauren hungrily (and greedily) scooped a huge spoon of the delicious food and onto her plate. (ahh, the typical kids...) The girl didn't even bother moving the plate for the next person, she just dumped the mashed potato on her plate and started dividing it into smaller piles, some to eat now, some to eat later, and saving some for later. Lauren held her breath as she lifted the mask up and stuffed a spoon of mashed potatoes into her mouth. Clamping the mask back down as she took a deep breath and swallowed the food, she continued this until the small pile of 'eat now potatoes' were gone.

Angel only peaked her head around the corner, watching the kids at the table. She wasn't so sure about joining everyone when Ms. Nightingale wasnt there. Her shadow waved at her from outside, a complete being of it's self, just without a face. She smiled and slowly walked in and took her seat at the table, staring intently at her empty plate. She'd glance up every now and then to get reassurance from her shadow but other than that, she sat up straight and didn't move.
