Great job, Liliana, the unusually tall hunter mentally berated herself. Way to be discreet. She doubted she'd hear anything of interest now that the shorter woman had noticed her presence. She scrutinised the pair out of the corner of her eye as she leaned against the counter, waiting for her coffee. She took in the black tresses and ice blue eyes of the woman who had spoken, noting nothing unusual with the exception of the fact that she seemed unfazed. The other woman seemed nearly half a foot taller than the redhead, with very long blonde hair and green eyes. Also unfazed. Liliana's gaze was drawn to the silver cross around the blonde's neck. She could just be religious, she reckoned. Or she could be an Angel.
(had to go back and read through forms for this post xD)

Laura put on her professional face, seeming unfazed by the human remains. The stench made her want to gag as well, even though she'd seen things like this before. "The lack of scavenging is quite perplexing," she muttered upon closer inspection. Despite the sickening smell, she forced herself closer to the remains. Stay objective, she reminded herself. Treating this with as much detachment from the fact that it was a living human will help. Though the bush was obscuring the body considerably, Laura was hesitant to move it aside - no one was supposed to touch anything before a forensics team arrived. But this wasn't any typical case, and there were no forensics teams at the moment. Still, she was unsure about touching the shrub - this was Arbor's forest; it could be sentient like the plants in the greenhouse. Though her mind battled with itself over this, she removed some latex-free gloves from the right pocket of her skirt and pulled them over her fingers. Supernatural or not, this was still a crime scene, and she didn't want to risk contaminating any evidence.
