Letting out a sigh Gray finally turned away from the shelves and just look around th library. Staying quiet just let his eyes drift from person to person, 'maybe talk to one of them?' Gray thought to himself before just shaking his head and chuckling softly. "Better not to bug anybody." Speaking softly to himself the boy closed his eyes, ever so slightly leaning against the shelf. He really needed to make some friends, you'd think after 6 years in Hogwarts he'd have made at least one friend, but no. Gray had also sort of been the loner type. Observibg from a distance.

Thomas pause a bit in thought before changing direction to head up to the astronomy tower. *Maybe it'd be better to read it there* he thinks making sure the cotton was keeping pace with his steps. He carefully climbs up the stairs, thinking about what his grandfather had wrote to him about. "Maybe it finally happen with father* he mumbles picking up the albino snake, to give her a rest from the cold stone.

Hazel frowned at the boy's rude comment. But, decided to make the best of it.
"Haha.. Well, sometimes. But he ain't that bad!"
She said, trying to make the best out of the situation.
He's probably a Slytherin...
That makes befriending him a challenge!
They're always, fairly rude..
She thought. While looking at him.
"Oh! The name is Hazel.. Nice to meet you!"
She said with a bright smile, extending her hand. For a hand shake!

Leo watched his young grey tom-cat Mochi with amusement from his reclined state on the floor of the astronomy tower.
The cat scurried across the dark room with a growl, flipping this way and that while trying to catch his tail. Leo gave a faint chuckle before turning back to his textbook. The words seemed to blur together even after blinking several times. Defeated by the textbook Leo's jaw clenched irritatedly and he shut the book with a heavy snap that startled his cat. Leo smiled apologetically at the grey cat as it trilled curiously at him.
"Sorry Mochi." The raven haired boy sighed "Didn't mean to frighten you."
Wth a jingle the cat trotted over to him and jumped into his lap, taking the place of his abandoned "Magical Highrogyphs & Logograms" textbook he'd been trying to study from. Absentmindedly he scratched under the cats chin.
"You're lucky monkey," he muttered sourly as his cat purred "that you don't have to study at all."
His train of thought was interrupted by the sound of solitary footsteps. A incurable anxiousness seeped into help at the sound and his heart pounded in his chest. It was an involuntary reaction to anything happening that was out of the ordinary that tipped his anxiety, but he quickly recovered. Leo had Mochi after all, and he had no reason to need to flee the astronomy tower - he had every right as the next student to be here.

Thomas gently lets cotton slither down onto the last step and watches her enter the tower room first. "Careful dear cotton" he says following after her with a small smirk on his lips. He looks around the room, spotting another boy sitting on the floor. He gives him a small nod before heading over to sit in a window with the albino snake giving a low hiss at spotting another animal. "Don't mind her, she's not used to something that's not food" he calmly says looking back towards him and waving his hand at the snake, forcing her to move away.

xxxxwillian sighed in relief, pressing his back against the hard frosted ground. he stared at the sky before it became too hard, his eyes tearing slightly by his waterline from the bright array of blue-gray. he closed his eyes, letting the cold air of the coming winter freeze his skin. it was great, a large change from his usual humid dorm room of constant studying.
xxxxit must of looked strange, a slytherin boy lying flat on the ground near the black lake, bright russet hair making him stick out against the gray-green landscape. he didn't care how strange it must of looked, of course, since he usually looked strange. he was strange. taking a deep breath, willian opened his eyes with a snap, letting the gray flood back in. he was sure it would snow soon; time was running out for it to happen. he, in his lifetime, had never experienced a brown winter. the two words just didn't seem right--winter was supposed to be whites, reds, greens and golds. brown was never ever a part, unless you counted the trunks of christmas trees. gray was a granted color of winter. gray skies that would let little fluffy flakes fall from the clouds.

Katherine was walking down to the black lake where she usually goes to be happy. Since she has depression the black lake sloths her mind. Then she saw a boy laying there. "Hello." She said, standing next to the boy.

xxxxwillian heard footsteps. he tensed, not breathing, eyes closed. when a voice sounded, however, he sat up and opened his eyes in quick succession, glaring at the female. she had ruined it, he thought most students were terrified of the squid in the black lake and would not come near it. a flash of annoyance ran over his face before he dismissed it. he didn't say anything, of course, there was no need. this female should get the message.
