Regina opened up the case at her hip which held her extra deck and ran her finger along the top edges of the cards there like a file folder in search of the twin monsters. Locating them, the girl plucked both from their places among their fellows and held the two cards out towards Fate to see. While holding the cards out for Fate, the green haired female duelist couldn't help but momentarily turn her attention back to the boy laying in the bed. As she watched Kio the sense of familiarity returned to her, though the student quickly squashed such feelings only to return her attention to her elder.

The moment Fate saw the two cards, Numbers as he now knew them to be, he recognized them from his vision. "These two cards....they have a deep connection with Mr. Kio. Once he comes to grips with the darkness in his heart, once he tames that darkness, these two cards will reveal their true power. I have seen that in his future. For now, the chains around their represent the limitations of his heart." Fate noticed how Regina looked at Kio as if he were familiar. Not familiar in the way that one would look at someone they had met the day before, but familiar in a way that signified that he seemed to remind her of someone. "Is there something familiar about him to you? Does he remind you of someone you know?"

Regina crossed her arms with each hand gripping the opposite. "I-I don't know to tell the truth. I mean maybe but I have no idea why.", the girl replied shifting in her spot slightly,"Ever since we first dueled yesterday I've been thinking, deluding myself into thinking, I've seeing brief flashes of certain members of my family. Well...really my family's friends but I've grown up calling them aunt and uncle since I could talk so they are family to me as much as my parents are. Plus he had Numbers too boot. But if he had any relation to any of my parent's friends then we would have grown up together. I know for a fact I just met him yesterday." The green haired teen shook her head to clear it of such thoughts. They were ridiculous after all, no way her feelings were right on this. She needed to learn to ignore these feelings before they drove her up a wall.

"While it is indeed true that logic would dictate he should not be familiar, instinct can occasionally be the key to truth. Whether that is truth in this case or not is entirely up to you. Only you can determine what is fact and what is fiction." Having said this, Fate headed towards the doorway, turning back for only a moment. "I shall be waiting for you on the roof for the duel that I promised you. Winner determines what movie we shall watch, as I do wish to thank you for expanding my horizons a bit and listening to me rant." Leaving the room, Fate truly did head for the roof, casting a swift knowing glance at the woman he had sensed outside the door. Now there was a sense of familiarity that he could attribute to the boy whose hospital room he had just left. However, that glance was all the acknowledgment he paid to her as he made his way up.

Regina watched Fate leave the room for a moment before turning back to the boy in the bed. The dark haired young man's words swirled in her head to combine themselves with the previous day's experience, then images of standing on the sidelines of watching a duel beside her mother and a blue haired women. Her father yelling words of teasing and encouragement at the same time directed at a pair of men a few feet away. One man whose field held monster all too familiar to the green haired duelist, a cross from him stood his opponent grinning as he summoned a puppet-like monster to the field. The puppet rushed forward and clashed with one of the sharks..... Regina hung her head and turned to leave the room while placing the Xyz monsters back into the holder at her side before heading for he hospital roof. The women who had been watching having managed to slip out of sight to avoid Regina as she left after her companion.

As he waited for Regina to come, the only thing on Fate's mind that was of imminent importance was which deck to use. He was certainly at his best while using the Prediction Princesses, but at the same time they deserved rest after the duel from the night before. To be involved in something so vital to the path down which fate was taking him had to have been quite demanding on the Princesses, so he determined that they would be allowed the beauty rest. The Madolches would take over this duel.

Fate did not need to wait long for Regina. In fact, he had just pulled out his duel gazer that drew inspiration for its design from the opera masks he occasionally saw his mother using for her movie roles as a young boy. No, the masks he could even see her use in some of her roles to this very day. "Ah, you have arrived right on time, Miss Regina. I hope you have decided to bring everything you could muster, for I am certainly not one to be trifled with. I know that you yourself are highly skilled, but I need to warn you not to take this lightly just because it is a duel for fun." Having said this, Fate placed the mask on his face and activated his duel disk, putting his Madolches into their slot.

Having reached the roof of the hospital the teen wasted no time in activating her duel disk. The disk unfolded itself upon activating before attaching to the base which held Regina's deck at the constant ready about her arm. With her duel disk ready to go, the green haired student pulls out her duel gazer to rest the tinted lens over her eye. "Don't worry Fate. By the time this is over we'll be watching the movie of my choosing, count on it. Hope you're in for a good soaking because you're about to get one either way.", said Regina as the duo was surrounded by a veil of numbers and digital code.

"Augmented Reality Vision Link established."

A screen showing that both duelists were starting off with 4000 life points appeared on both sides of the choosen battlefield as a signal everything was ready for the duel to begin.

"As a gentleman, I shall allow you to take the first turn. Make of that time what you will, for you shall not be given a second chance to relax. After this, we shall view the movie of my choosing, or at least I hope that is the future that awaits us. One can never tell until all the paths connect." Of course, there would always be a chance that he would not win. Were he to be using the Prediction Princesses, victory would be all but certain. The Madolches, however, had several weaknesses that could be exploited. Not easily exploited, but exploited nonetheless. Luckily, they were never alone in this particular deck.

EDITED

"If you're insisting then fine by me, it's my move! Draw!", the female duelist said removing the top card from her deck and looking at her hand. It wasn't one to be particularly pleased with having drawn with the strongest monster in it having 1000 attack points total. Still that didn't mean it was completely useless either...not to someone who knew her deck like she did. "Get ready to hurt Fate, because I'm kicking things off by activating my Fish Spawn Spell Card! This card brings forth a pair of Fish Spawn Tokens(att-0, def-0,lvl. 1), as long as I sacrifice a thousand of my life points! It may seem like a foolish move to reduce my own life points but in this case it'll be well worth it!", the teen said as her life points dropped from 4000 to 3000. When the card appeared on the field two inky black spheres materialized above it before forming into a pair of identical fish tokens. "But these little guys won't be around for long because I am tributing them in order to summon a level nine monster! Big Whale(attk-1000, def-3000, lvl. 9)! Surface and join the party!" Both fish-like tokens shattered and the ground started to shake as a massive whale burst forth from the surface of the hospital roof. "But my whale isn't the only fishy friend joining us because his special ability let's me summon one WATER attribute monster from my hand as long as it is level four or below! A monster just like Tripod Fish(attk-300, def-1300, lvl.3)!" The bizarre looking glowing fish appeared on the field beside it's much larger sea dwelling brethren. Following the appearance of the level three monster, Regina took another card from her hand as it began giving off a glow signaling it's activation as it was set. "But we're still not quite done because I am activating one more Spell Card known as Tri Slice! With this card's activation, I have to send Big Whale to the graveyard! But in it's place I get to summon three more level three monsters for the price of one giant! Say bye-bye whale and hello to my Starfish (attk-300, def-300, lvl. 3) trio!" A large black hole opened up in the center of the battle field and sucked in the large fish monster, as the female student removed three cards from her deck to place them on her duel disk. A trio of large starfish appeared lined up before the young Tsukumo on the field.

"I do hope there's more to your deck than swarming the field. That simply will not end well, especially if your aim is to Xyz summon swiftly. Be careful you do not reveal your entire hand in a single turn, lest you fall to the simplest trick from my own." A warning that should be taken with a grain of salt from someone who was well aware that decks like Regina's worked well to Xyz summon. However, that was when the Madolches would shine through. It seemed victory might already be determined by her rush to swarm the field with monsters. To do something like that before seeing what tricks their opponent had up their sleeve was reckless to say the least. It was clear that she was bolstering her field in preparation for what he might throw her way, but what he might throw her way could easily overwhelm such defenses.
