Claire walked around camp, "alright everyone, lights out, itstime for bed." She called out.

Carloslooked at Tear, "you can stay in the humvee with Kmart claire and I." He told her, the hummer had enough room for them all.

Alice pulled off the road, and made a quick fire, she layed her head on the sand and stared up at the stars.

Mystearica nodded. "Thank you..." she murmured softly. "I saw a shooting star...Do you think that wishes come true if we really did put lots of hope into them?"

Leon heard raggedy breathing. He was certain that it came from the corner down the hallway, so he stopped and pulled out the scope that allowed him to see the cool and warm body temperatures and strapped it onto his rifle. There was an infected species walking towards him, and he aimed. There were three specific spots that he can shoot, and it differed per creature. Without this scope, he would be dead. Shooting it, it staggered, and continued to walk towards him slowly. He killed it off as he shrieked before exploding, the blood disintegrating.

"Yeah, I do believe that, if the person puts their heart and soul into the wish it'll come true."

Kmart was already asleep in the middle section of the hummer.

Mystearica nodded before getting some shut eye for herself. Trying to think positive things before she fell asleep, she only dreamed of nightmares, every night.

Leon finally gained access to the doors to the room where Ashley was trapped in. However, he needed to hurry because Saddler had injected the plague into his circulatory system, as well as Ashley's. Yet, he discovered that there was a machine that is able to kill the plague before it grows to a harmful stage. Thanks to Ada's medication, the process has slowed down. He walked through automatic sliding doors that slid open once he entered. The room revealed a long hallway with white walls and a sliding door in the end with a card slider. He knew that he had the card.
Suddenly, as soon as he took one step, lasers began to appear in front of him; there were three. He slid underneath of them, before rolling and jumping over the next set. Running up to the door, he pushed himself off and jumped back over the next set that came from the other direction before falling flat on his stomach to dodge the last set. The door opened once he slid his card and hurried out of the laser room.

Carlos climbed into the front seat, and began to fall asleep.




Alice yawned, and put down the diary she had been reading...the one she had found at the gas station.

Mystearica stood up and arched her back as she stretched. The sun had not risen yet, but she no longer felt like sleeping. She managed to find some of the mouthwashes and gargled it before spitting it down onto the dirt floor by sticking her head out of the window. Looking up she noticed the red-eyed crows that started to land on the vehicles. What do they want? Stupid birds... She reached for her Broken Butterfly, which used Magnum bullets and her Red9, which used .22 calibers regular handgun ammo. Thanks, Uncle, for taking me to those shooting ranges on my birthdays and for the holidays...

Kmart also woke......she looked at Tear, then noticed the crows......


Carlos was awake....he watched out the winsheild, at the birds....."They're infected." He whispered.

Mystearica's eyes widened slightly, her eyes narrowed as she felt a rush of adrenaline run through her body. Her sight was focused and clear, her senses alert. This was due to the training her uncle had taught her before he went off on his mission in Europe.
"I agree..." she replied listlessly. "Uncle has to deal with these birds, as well...according to the person he communicates with in the US to keep in touch...yet he's lost signal now...But according to what we know, cows, chickens, and any other animals can get infected. Birds like these are more likely from feeding on the infected flesh...But they are more dangerous than the zombies...They're harder to shoot while they are in flight..."

"Great." Claire looked back. "Let's pull out, and get the hell outta here"

Carlos. Picked up a walkie talkie, "otto.lock down, were leaving. But be quiet."

Otto was woken up by the radio, "you heard him." He whispered to the kids.

Mystearica nudged Kmart a bit when more crows were starting to come. And if a person was to look up, the sky was swarming with them.
