Carlos picked alice up, and made his way toward his car.....he looked at Tear, "go check on everyone else please?"

[charmcast]

Mystearica nodded and did as he said. Once she was finished, she headed back to him and reported, "There have been a few deaths...We've lost more people...And quite a few are injured, but their wounds are being mended and cared for..." Her expression was hard and serious.

[Daft Deception]

He looked at her....."Alright..........." He put his fingers to his temples......"We'll have a service (funeral) before we leave"

[charmcast]

"That sounds appropriate. After all, we've all known each other ever since..." said Mystearica, her thoughts wandering off.

[Daft Deception]

"Yeah...." he replied, " but you, alice and i have known eachother since racoon city was still normal, and there was no such thing as the T-virus..........you were in the S.T.A.R.S. training program right?" he asked.

Alice slowly woke up, and rubbed her head and sat up, she noticed a new bracelet on her wrist...."what this?"

"it was mine, but youcan have it...its a good luck charm." Kmart smiled.

[charmcast]

Mystearica only nodded silently. She was still shocked from the events that happened only hours ago.

"Alice..." she murmured. "It's me...Lightning...The 12 year old girl who wanted to be tough like you...remember?" She smiled a soft, yet sad smile, and longed that everything was back to normal.

[Daft Deception]

Alice looked at the girl and smiled, "you don't want to be like me," she replied, and ruffled her hair gently.

Carlos nodded aswell.

Mystearica did not respond. She now understood that Alice had gone through many obstacles in life. Yet, she was so tough, and she was like her hero back then, even now!
Mystearica turned towards Carlos and asked, "We're moving out tomorrow?"
Turning back towards Alice, she asked, "Do you have any suggestions where we should head, Alice?"

She looked down at the small diary she had in her leg pocket, "yeah, actually.......Alaska." She looked at them, "there might be survivors, and a lot of them.......I found this." She showed them the book.

"Why...Alaska?" asked Mystearica. "The plague has spread even to Europe, according to my uncle. Is it the cold climate?"
