Jack placed his hands on the sides of Kai's face, holding her close to him. He broke away from just a second to catch a breath, but quickly returned to the kiss, closing his eyes.

Kai's eyes opened slightly, and she kissed him before whispering,"You should get back to Cyrus." and kissed his cheek gnently, giving him a quick kiss after a few moments.

Jack moved his arms to Kai's waist and held her tightly, reluctant to leave. He groaned and kissed her gently. "Must I?"

"She'd wonder why you were taking so long!" she laughed, and kissed his cheek.

Jack chuckled and kept his arms around Kai's waist. "You'll have to give me a better reason than that. It'd probebly take the distruction of the world to get me to willingly leave you." He smiled, his eyes twinkling.

Kai blushed, and whispered, "I'm tired. Is that good enough?" And placed her hands on his shoulders.

Jack smiled and kissed her forehead. "That is. I guess I'll leave, just remember to call if you need anything. I'll my number near the telephone."

She sighed and nodded. "Okay... one more kiss? Like the one before?" she asked quietly, inquiring the perfect kiss they'd had after the robber had gotten into her house.
