Kai struggled in the ropes, and her eyes were wide and fearful.

Jack kneeled down next to her and put his hand gently on the side of her face. "Kai, I would never hurt you. It's okay, dont be scared."

She shook her head, and scooted away angry.

Jack sighed and dropped his hand. "What are you mad about?"

She tried to rub off the duct tape to tell him, but her eyes showed it all. She was scared, and was having second thoughts.

Jack looked at the duct tape and nodded. He took it off quickly, and replaced it with his hand. "Shh, whisper." He took his hand away.

Kai closed her eyes, hugging her knees close to her chest. "Jack, I'm scared...... I'm so scared..." she cried. "What if they decide to kill me?" she whispered, her face returning to the killer heart-broken, frightened look. She gazed over at him with her big blue eyes, wanting to leave, but remembering his sister, and not breaking her gaze from his.

Jack nodded. He sat down next to her and put his arm comfertingly around her shoulders. "Kai, it's okay. I will take you home right now. You dont have to risk your life for someone you barely know."

"B-But what about your sister?" she whispered, trying not to cry. "I don't wanna leave you to do this on your own- and those men will kill you if you let me go. I'm already in this..... just don't leave me." She whimpered, and sighed heavily, already anxious for the future.

Jack looked into her and and spoke softly. "I will not leave you. I promise. Are you sure? I understand if you want to go back, and i dont blame you. I'd figure away out of it, it's okay."
