~Plot~
An alarmingly large amount of students at the local high school are troubled and the community was so concerned that they got together and created a plan for a clinic that those students could go to for help. While it is the students' choice to go to the clinic or not, for some exceptionally troubled teens, the principal mandates that they must attend. For half of the school day, those students attend the high school, but after lunch, they head over to the clinic to get help. From problems from depression to drug or alcohol abuse, this clinic can help resolve very nearly any issues.Oddly enough, a common trend is seen in all of the troubled teens, who seem to fall into two distinct categories:
1) Those who claim to be straight, but either hide or deny the fact that they are of some other sexual orientation for various reasons. This usually results in depression or substance abuse because of their repressed feelings, but it isn't usually as bad of an issue as the second category presents.
2) Those who accept and aren't afraid to show that they aren't straight. Because these students are often taunted, teased, and pranked excessively, they often have low self-esteem and depression, and many resort to using drugs or alcohol to help with the pain. These students' problems are often the most severe and pose more of a threat to their own health.
Because of these two categories having one main thing in common, this clinic is trying a new type of therapy. The professionals who run it believe that love is the answer to these kids' problems, and so they run the clinic almost like a dating service, although it is much more personal and each student's needs are catered to individually to provide the best chance for their recovery. Some take longer than others to find another person they love, but if they remember that love is from the heart, then each one of them will find who they were meant to be with...their true love.
