You step out of your parents car as you come to a camp in the middle of nowhere. Black Swamp Summer Camp. Nice name.... You get your luggage, and stand there for a while. "We'll pick you up at the end of summer!" Your parent(s) or guardian(s) tell you, and quickly drive off. Almost as if they were dumping you here. But they're not, they just think you should make friends and get out more. You walk up the driveway, that's about half a mile. It was too skinny to drive up, so you were forced to walk. You finally make it up the hill the driveway is on, and reach a large iron gate with a brick wall surrounding the whole camp. You walk up to the gate, and ring the small buzzer bell they have set in the wall, and the gate opens with a rusty creeaak. Nothing too weird there. I mean, they could have an electric gate or something. Sure you didn't see wires, but they may have just hid them. You walk through, and you could swear you were in a movie set of a graveyard without the stones. Sure it was bad outside the wall, but inside was almost too much. The trees didn't have any leaves, yet it was summer. They were most likely dead. In fact, once you go up to touch one, you see that it is dead. There were no birds, flowers, and the grass was also dead. The air was stale, almost like death. The sky was cloudy, like it was going to rain, but the air smells nothing like rain, and there's no wind. Like the nature is dead. You shudder slightly, and continue on walking towards the office building. There are no other kids it seems like. But they're probably not here yet. You suddenly hear flapping, and a squeak. You look up to see something flying. A bird? No. A bat. You pick up your pace a little, and while walking, you could of sworn you heard some whispering, not like the wind, but raspy sounding, like dead leaves scratching pavement. You stop and look around. Seeing nothing, you run the rest of the way to the office. Once there, you fling open the door, and close it quickly behind you. It's too creepy out there. But inside doesn't seem any better inside. It's a log building, but the logs have greyed from age. Same with the wood plank floor. You look around, and hear the scratching of a pencil on paper in an adjoining room, so you head there. You walk into the room, and knock on the doorframe. An old man that looks about a hundred years old looks up from his desk and gives you a smile that you could tell was forced. "Welcome to Black Swamp. Name, rank, and serial number." He said in a raspy voice. He cackles, then looks at you. "Just name." He says. You tell him your name, and he hands you a slip of paper with a number and list on it. Your cabin number, and list of activities. You nod a thank you, then walk back outside, and towards the cabin number assigned to you. You step in, and notice a few other people there. Weird they weren't outside. You put your stuff on a bed that looks unused, and look around at the kids. They're either reading or listening to music. You decide to take a walk outside, being it was creepier in here than out there. Dead silence really isn't cool in any way. The cabins had the same look as the office. You head out, paper in hand, and look around. There's a lake, like you expected, a woods, of course dead, and a trail through the woods. Looks like no one has used it in years, so why not explore it? You start walking, and soon come to a fork in the road along with a sign. Left heads to someplace called "Valley Hill" and the other leads to..... a.. graveyard? You stand there looking at the sign, and of course, your body just has to drag you to the right. You reach a small clearing in the woods, with a bunch of head stones. You walk up to them, and read the first one.

You stand there looking at it for a while, then look at the others. There are seven others. The second one is someone who drowned, next is someone who was stabbed, next is hung, then strangled, burned, poisoned, and one is someone who was lost, never to be found again. You just stand in the midst of these stones, not moving. Soon, a figure appears behind you, and taps you on the shoulder. "Hey you." They say. You jump, and turn around. They laugh, and disappear, then reappear behind you again. You turn again, and they laugh once more, before morphing into a disgusting form that looks like they had just came from a battlefield. A young man, shot many times. "Welcome to the Swamp." He says, before disappearing. You shudder again, this time, actually totally freaked out, that you can't move. You finally break out of your trance, and run back to your cabin. Everyone is still there, and it's getting late, so you get ready for bed, and are asleep quickly. The next morning, the noise of people talking wakes you up, and you look out the window. People look like they're having fun, so you get up, and get dressed, and head out. It's going to be a long summer.

1. All of Tess' rules apply.
2. Keep romance PG-13, and yes, violence and graphics too. When explaining what the ghost looks like in their murdered kind of form, don't be too descriptive. I'm not squeemish for that, but there are some out there who are, and that may even include you, writing that ghost description right now. So don't describe for like guts or anything, just look at mine to get a general idea.
3. Five characters per person, including a ghost. There is only one ghost per person.
4. No, you don't have to be perfect with grammar. I'd like it if you had understandable stuff, but it doesn't have to be amazing, and you don't have to write like, five lines or anything.
5. Try not to just RP with just another person. Let others in, even though I do have a habit of doing this, I'm trying to break it.
6. Put human in red under other in your form.
7. There really is no plot to this, so you can do whatever. Just don't do an alien invasion or something totally ridiculous like that.
8. No, your living charrie cannot die to become a ghost. If they die, they're dead, and not coming back, even as a ghost.
9. You have to be active. Emphasis, bold, and underline on have. If you're on four or more days a week, and are on for more than an hour, you can join. If you lie about this, I will find out, and PM you a message telling you you can't RP anymore, so be honest. I don't like doing it to people, but sometimes you gotta.
10. Drama is highly encouraged, just nothing overly, overly, dramatic.
11. Don't post human. Post ghost in blue under other in your form.
12. Your ghost person can fall in love with a human. I'll put reasons why you may not want to though down below.
13. Swearing is allowed, but *** out any bad ones. Ex: F***, b****, etc.
14. You shall not question my authority, unless the thing I'm arguing against is in the rules.
15. When giving the picture for your character, please give me a link along with it.
16. Don't post human or ghost. Post 'Is death sweet?' in purple under other in your form.
17. Wait to be accepted.
18. No being mean to people in OOC.
19. If you want to stab, punch, etc. someone else's charrie, ask the person first. For kissing and hugging, no need to ask. If they don't like it, they can have their charrie slap yours or something. XD
20. No pets allowed.
21. The ghost has to be killed in the camp.
22. No more than 5 pages without me.
23. Okay people...... I have to tell you about one of my pet peeves. If no one is coming to talk to your charrie, go talk to someone!! If your charrie is just sitting there, and not being noticed, get off your behind, and go talk to someone yourself! It annoys me greatly when someone's not doing anything, but walking around or sitting, then complaining "Everyone's ignoring me!". Maybe they want you to talk to them! If you walk up to a person, say something, and they still ignore you, I'll give 'em a piece of my mind. But I won't if you're not attempting to talk to someone. There. Now that's over.
24. There are limited ghost spots, so grab them while you can!

~Ghost info~
So, the ghosts. They have three forms, their invisible form, their active form, and their death form. Their invisible form is their normal form. You can't see them of course. Their active form is when you can see them, hear them, and they can use objects. The funny thing about this is they are only visible and audible to people they want to be visible/audible to, and they can only be in this form for an hour before disappearing again. Then the death form. This is the way they looked like when they died. It is exactly like their active form, but of course, they look different. Quite affective for late night hauntings. And all of the ghosts in this camp know each other, and can see each other, no matter what form they are in.

~Camp info~
Black Swamp has 12 cabins, one office, a lake, a large woods, and a graveyard. The Valley Hill mentioned in the intro is not used at all. It is always cloudy. No sun at all. It hardly ever rains, and when it does, it storms.

Yes. A simple map made on MS Paint. Say anything and feel the wrath of my giant hoe...... The forest green airbrush thing is the woods, and even though the cabins look all different sizes on the map, they're all the same size.
The cabins are pretty big, holding 4 beds in each, and all are identical.

Personality: Jackilyn is quite tomboyish. She would never wear a dress, unless pressed to do so. She wears pink though, claiming that pink is not a sign of girliness, it is a sign of boldness. She's rather outgoing, and can seem rude at first. She seems to always say the wrong thing at the wrong time, but is otherwise very nice. Quite sarcastic.

Personality: He's not exactly quiet, but not too friendly either. Usually if you hear him talking, it's a sarcastic, rude, or completely random remark. He rarely gives praise to anyone, and if he does, he makes a joke out of it. His weakness that most people take advantage of is, he's gullible. He'll believe most things you tell him. He's also easy to confuse, and also easy to agitate. When he's mad, it seems like World War III broke out.

Gender: male
Personality: He's quite the prankster, and likes to joke around. His favorite pastime is terrorizing the campers. He greets the campers when they find their way to the graveyard, and his most famous line is "Welcome to the Swamp", then transforming into his death form. He's funny, and somewhat quiet and shy. Was never good with girls really, and one even killed him. When mad, he gets rather dramatic and emotional. Sometimes even sounding like he just warped from a soap opera.

Death appearance: His body is riddled with bullet wounds, and his clothes are bloody near the wounds. His hair is messed up, and there is dirt and blood on his face.

History: He used to love coming to the camp when he was alive. Now he wishes he could leave, and move on. The reason he hates it here is because of how he died. When he was alive, his parents were both alive, but didn't really care about him. He didn't have many friends either.
Birth/Death: 1962-1980
Their Story: He went to the camp every year, and one year, he took his girlfriend along with him. Well, it just so turns out that she got the wrong idea when he was talking with another girl back home, but she didn't tell him about it until the one night they went on a walk through the woods at camp, after the dance. She had a gun on her, that she somehow sneaked into camp, and gave him a small lecture, and threatening not to move or she'd shoot. When he tried telling her that she was wrong, she got too mad, and shot him. At first, it was only once, but he was still alive, as it had only hit him in the shoulder, so she kept shooting, until she was sure he was dead. After that, she dropped the gun near his body, and went running through the camp, yelling that he had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Being he was killed right after that dance, he still has his formal clothes on as a ghost.
Other: He was the ghost in the intro.

Name: Yael Abram Tellier
Age: 18
Gender: male
Personality: Yael is more of a bitter-sweet person. He is nice, but in a sense, he's kind of mean. He is a great actor, and can fake being hurt, angry, sad, or even happy. He doesn't think it's very nice to play jokes on people, and doesn't do it himself. He can be flirty at times, but not to the extreme. An overall nice guy, but he does have his quirks.

History: Silvia was her parents only kid, so it was horrible to hear of her getting lost and dying. Before she died, when she found the graveyard she got some flowers and placed a bundle at the foot of each grave.

Their Story: Silvia made some friends but many enemies. They knew about her lvoe of the forest so they took her on a hike. After they traveled far into the forest, they threw her into a deep whole in the earth and left. When Silvia got out, she didn't know the way back. She slipped on rocks and got tangled in brambles and black berry bushes. Eventually the ones who brought her there lead the adults back to were she lay dead. They said she bled to death which was true. There mission which they called "Angel Oblivion" was a success.

Personality: Abel is a quiet and shy boy but enjoys exploring as well. He gets a little nervous around chrowds but he's very kind boy. Other: Like the pic; he does have Heterochromia (different eye color then the other eye) One is very light brown, and the other is a bright blue. Also he's actually has a small bit of Hebrew and is many English (or "British" as he says it, he's trying to loose that, and he's almost there.)

Personality: Secretive and shy, she'll hardly ever approach anyone to talk normally, even the other ghosts. She typically hides her emotions from others, remaining as apathetic as possible. At times that's a bit better for her. She's always afraid of hurting other people, and doesn't approve of communicating with humans. As she's afraid about how the dead could affect the living.

Death appearance: Same as above, but her dress is tattered, and covered with dirt.

History: Selene was planning on getting married to a man she liked a lot who was twenty years old. But when she died, that of course couldn't happen. The man got married to another woman, one year after Selene died. Turns out he had been cheating on her. She found out about this years later when their son appeared at camp and was dropped off by his parents. This was when she decided it was better not to confront humans.
Birth/Death: Born: January 5, 1930. Died: February 19, 1948.
Their Story: Selene had a few enemies during her time at camp. They didn't like her because one of the handsomer men their thought he was in love with her. They thought of a plan to get rid of her, driven by their insane jealousy. Putting together the most volatile plants they could find, they mixed them together and poured the liquid part of it into a glass filled with juice. They told Selene it was juice, and offered it to her saying they realized that they shouldn't be jealous of her since she didn't like the boy anyway. She drank it, and died instantly. The girls were surprised their concoction had worked and ran away, horrified at what they had done...She was buried in the same dress she had died in, as it was really the only nice thing she had. She had been wearing it as a good-bye measure as she was planning on leaving camp the next day.
