"She wants to get stronger... She just needs the right person to help her..." Kitshin's face softened with sympathy. "She wants power... To beat you. To be strong." She sighed. "But she's doing it the wrong way..."

"I know. She wants to be friends with the most powerful person in the world, wants to train and manipulate the most powerful person in the world. Yes, she wants to beat me. And no, I won't let her. The only way I can get a high place in our tribe is the way I train and teach younger airbenders." Aika sighed, though she added, "Izanami knows this, and she wants to make me mess up in front of the monks, I won't let her do that."

[sheep.]

"Neither will I." Kitshin quickly changed the subject. "So when are we leaving? I need enough time to find Io-chan and give him instructions on where to go... I can't just leave him, and we could use him when your bison gets tired and we're above sea."

"We'll leave at sunset, that way we won't be seen. Give him instructions to meet us at the Southern Water Tribe, the village you lived in before. We'll get there in a couple of days, and my bison will be able to fly solidly for two days without rest." Aika told Kitshin, thinking of their journey ahead. "We'll camp out the night before we reach your village, and approach on foot. I don't think they'll try to attack us then."

[sheep.]

Ktshin smiled. "They won't attack you, I promise. Just... wait for me to tell youn to get off the bison." She ran happily back to the house, but waited for Aika to come.

Aika followed slowly, not sure whether she believed Kitshin now. Not long after Kitshin had got in, she walked through the door. There her sister stood, the three packs sitting beside the table. kitshin stood waiting inside the house, but Aika went over to hug her sister as a word of thanks before turning to Kitshin.

Kitshin smiled. "Thank you," she whispered happily. "Stay safe." She turned to Naomi and Kasumi as she said it. Then she turned to Aika. "I can't thank you enough for what you've done. There's no words to describe how happy I am."

"No problem. I just want to come back some day." Aika smiled back, and hugged Kitshin. "It will be dark soon, let's eat." She looked at Naomi who gestured towards the table. There was only some lentil soup on the table with some bread, but they were very generous portions. Kichirou and Jirou soon wandered in, and Kasumi came in from her room.

"I'll be fine." kitshin leaned against the wall, staring out of the window. there was only a few people there, most of which were monks.

"Come and eat Kitshin, you'll need your strength for the journey." Aika said from the table, already tucking in with her siblings. Thinking, Aika thought; what if this all goes wrong? What happens if I don't return from this journey? What will happen to my siblings?
