Kitshin laughed. "I still don't get the big deal. People don't see it from my point of view. I don't care if everything isn't spotless, I hate being treated like some queen all the time. They expect me to save the world when I'm seventy-two and look twelve. And that girl..." She shuddered and shook her head.

"This is Naomi, I think you saw her at the Air Nomad gathering." Aika pointed at Naomi, then at each of her siblings as she said their names. "That's Kasumi, my little sister. That's Jirou, and that's Kichirou."
"I take it you had a bad time with Izanami?" Naomi asked, her voice quiet as she sipped her soup. "You were there for about 30 minutes. I know Aika can't spend more than 5 seconds in her presence, though they haven't got on since Aika beat Izanami at Aika's first training session - Izanami had been training for two months." She smiled slightly, amusement written all over her face.
"We were five." Aika admitted, laughing.
"It was funny." Kirichou grinned, the memory making them all laugh.
"Just do what you can." Kasumi said wisely to Kitshin, to the save the world comment. "That's all we can ask of you."
"Ignore Izanami, she's a spoilt brat." Aika told Kitshin, stating the obvious.
"A rich, spoilt brat." Jirou muttered, but looking content.
"Aika, Jirou. Don't be mean." Naomi chided, though her face said that she agreed with them.
"Kitshin, if you want, you can have my room. I'll share with Naomi and Kasumi." Aika told Kitshin, obviously not taking no for an answer. "It's not much, you just get some privacy and a mat to sleep on. I'm sure we can find some blankets somewhere. There's some old clothes of mine somewhere, I can dig them out of a wardrobe somewhere." Thoughtfully, she added, "They might be in Jirou and Kichirou's room or in Naomi and Kasumi's room."

Kitshin laughed. "No, I don't need a room, thank you. After sleeping on a serpent for a week, you sort of start liking it." She smiled and looked at each of the members of the family.

"I'm insisting." Aika said firmly, not letting Kitshin change her mind. Naomi nodded from where she sat, and Kasumi slipped her hand into Kitshin's. "Besides, I don't think the others will let you stay in here." She added, a smile in her eyes. As they all finished last of the meal, Naomi gathered the bowls.
"Aika, show Kitshin the room she's staying in. Kasumi, find some of Aika's old clothes. Boys, you're helping me." Noami ordered as the two boys groaned. She stood up and walked over to the bowl they used to wash up in and poured some of the water they kept in a jug nearby.

"This way." Aika pointed towards the corridor door, and stood up slightly awkward. Kasumi raced ahead and turned into one of the rooms.

Kitshin crossed her arms and stood on her heels. "I'm not letting you move because of me. I'm insisting you sleep in your room." Her stubborn side had shown, and almost nothing could make her change her mind.

Now Aika's stubborn side showed through. "You are going to stay in my room." She argued, and Noami rolled her eyes from where she was washing up.
"Both of you stay in Aika's room, or both of you will sleep in the garden." Naomi snapped, sick of the arguement already.
"Fine." Aika had to listen to her sister, and she knew that she would follow through with her threat.

((WB, and I'm finding it hard to type in skeleton gloves - it's 5 past 6 pm here, and I had to get dressed as a grim reaper-type-thingy.))

Kitshin put her hand up. "I choose the garden!" She skipped into the corridor and tried to find the garden. "Um, where is it?" She blinked and walked back to Naomi.

(Same. I have to dress up as a witch (with a blue wig and itchy dress *itch itch*). Happy Hallowe'en!)

Naomi looked at her, laughter in her eyes. "You're sharing with Aika. It won't be for long though. About a week before you two leave to find your other teachers. Aika can teach you how to Airbend as you travel, but you need to learn the basics. I'm sure you'll be training alongside our younger siblings, and Kirichou will join you. He hasn't been training for a long time, and so his skills must be rusty." Jirou hid a snigger at the skills being rusty part, but stopped when Naomi glared at him.
"We're starting tomorrow." Aika said, rolling her eyes at Jirou. "And Jirou isn't usually like that, I think Kichirou must be rubbing off on him." Kichirou and Jirou high-fived and started laughing. No amount of glaring could would shut them up. "Come on, my room's this way." Just before Aika had taken a few steps, Kasumi ran into the room with a bunch of clothes in her arms.

Kitshin backed away. "No makeovers. Please?" She cowered behind Aika before running to the nearest room. "This yours?" Her teal eyes were hiding excitement behind the stubborn sheild she had built. Slowly but surely, the sheild started to break. Maybe Air Nomad clothes would be more comfortable than the blue genie clothes she had been travelling in? She smiled to herself and looked around. "Looks much more comfortable than Iza-chan's guest rooms..."

Aika followed Kitshin. She laughed as Kitshin looked around. "This is my brothers' room. I'm at the end of the hall. Naomi and Kasumi are across the hall, the bathroom is next door." Gently she led Kitshin down the hall to the room on the end. She brushed aside the door and let Kitshin enter first. There was a mat on the floor and a box with a lamp on. It was possibly the smallest room in the house, though it could easily fit two mats in. Kasumi followed them in, holding the old clothes. "These aren't quite as worn as your clothes." Aika told Kitshin, then fingered out an elegant blue floating dress that was supposed to go down to the knees. It was the colour of the clothes that Kitshin was wearing, and Aika fingered it lovingly. "This was the last dress my mother gave me before she went into the war and never returned." Carefully Aika pressed it into Kitshin's hands. "Now I give it to you. I'd save it for if you meet royalty, or high-ranked people." Kasumi left the room, leaving the clothes carefully on Aika's mat. Moments later Naomi entered holding a mat and three blankets.
