Aika hid a quick smile, and Naomi had overheard them. Together they melted away from the group of Air Nomads, but Aika promised herself that she would talk to Kitshin again and bring one of her siblings with her. She didn't doubt the fact that Izanami would mess up, and she wanted Kitshin to know her siblings before she learned alongside Aika's siblings.
Naomi let them walk in silence, then when they were far away enough she rounded on Aika. "Don't try anything stupid. Kitshin will be trained by you, I have no doubt that Izanami will mess up in the first week. Izanami will be pretty much everywhere with that girl, and won't let you anywhere near Kitshin. If you want I can send Kirichou with a note to Kitshin, Izanami doesn't mind him." She was slightly angry, though she kept her voice lowered and kept close to Aika's side.
"I want her to meet Kirichou, Jirou and Kasumi through me, not through that witch. You know that she'll tell Kitshin that we are bad news, and Kitshin won't talk to us. And maybe Izanami isn't that bad." Aika's voice was slightly pained, she had hoped that she would get a chance to train Kitshin without any trouble.
"You could have just taken her home." Naomi's voice was quiet, though none of her anger showed anymore. She knew that her sister longed for something different to have happened, though what was done was done. There was nothing Aika could do.
"That would have meant betraying the Monks." Aika hissed, then stopped talking as they had reached their home. Quietly the two girls entered their home, and Naomi immediately went to see what they had in the ways of food in their pantry.

Izanami smiled triumphantly at Aika, though Aika had seemed not to notice it. She fell into step beside Kitshin, and began telling her in a snobbish voice about her family. "I'm an only child, and we live in a four bedroomed house. My mother and father have quite high ranks in our tribe, so it seems only right that I get to train the Avatar. I would haave thought that you would have been older, though you can't pick everything in this world. I'll have to see about getting you some other clothes, those look too worn out to be seen around me. Your clothes have to stick out, I'll see what I have at home."
Izanami talked to Kitshin about her hair as they walked the rest of the way, saying that it needed a wash and needed to be styled properly. She didn't realise it, but she was insulting Kitshin with every word. It was just the way she was, and her long blonde hair was perfect, etc etc.
