Josias grew up in a middle-class home, like a normal Greek young man. His life, up until he was seventeen, was normal.
On his seventeenth birthday he went on a trip with a priest, who was also a very close family friend. The priest and Josias had a long conversation about finding spiritual Nirvana through a series of ways.
This led Josias to leave his home and take up the life of a traveling merchant. He has been to a series of countries and villages, exploring different religions and cultures as he does so.
Just recently he landed himself in Rome.
