She grits her teeth, backing up until she's beside her demon who is standing rigid but not fleeing. "Would've been nice to know you're her pet, Dean. Really. Would've been great information." She keeps her tone confident though internally she's panicking. "Guess I should've gone after baby bro instead." She shifts slightly, muttering softly to herself and watching Amara with unease and buried fear.

He snarled at her words, spitting out: "Bite me." He certainly wasn't her pet; far from it, actually. Just this 'bond' seemed to find them no matter what, and it was, frankly, pissing him off. Glaring at the witch, he returned his gaze to Amara, who was staring at him like a prized fish. Strange. He couldn't help but cringe.

"Do whatever you want, witch," Amara said, "I only came here for Dean." She took a step forward, narrowing her eyes as Dean looked utterly disgusted. Tilting her head, she turned to the witch. "Why are you so confident when, actually, I can taste your fear on my tongue?" She asked the witch sweetly.

"That's good." Jack muttered, out of ideas. He looked at the woman's face. "Would you mind, if I uh, studied you?" He rubbed his hand, still holding on tight to Redwood's leash. "Ask you some questions about your species?"

Katinti looked up. "I will answer only whatever questions I want to. But yes, you may ask."

Jack smiled, happy she didn't complain or refuse. "Is there a leader of, uh, Hell?" He asked, pulling out that journal again. "Oh, and, do all demons have black eyes?" He opened the book, a pen on the page where he'd last written. He flipped to some empty ones, ready to take notes.[/size]

"Confidence is a funny little thing. I came here basically signing my death warrant. Fear doesn't change the fact that I'm still alive." She reaches over to her chair, grabbing the knife and tossing it across the floor to Dean, her gaze never leaving Amara. "call me ignorant or whatever you wish. I'm still alive. Which is more than I'd expected from today." Her gaze flicks to Dean then back to Amara. "I won't lay another hand on your pet. I'm not trying to draw you in. I'm more interested in finding your brother."

"There is a leader, but it changes a lot. Crowley and Lucifer have exchanged it a few times, and now there's a demon named Keiran on the throne, I believe. Could have changed in the time since I last was there a few hours ago, of course. And demons do have different colored eyes - crossroads demons have red eyes and the most powerful demons have white eyes, although I've only ever heard of two - Lilith, the first demon, who's now dead, and Nex, who threatened to have an army of hellhounds tear me apart just hours ago," Katinti said cheerfully, continuing to pet Redwood.

"Lucifer, like the archangel from the bible?" Jack asked, writing down stuff about the diversity of eye colors. It seemed that were was a ranking when it came to that, white-eyes being very powerful, red being middle, and black being the servants or expendables. He was happy with his findings, and started to sketch out an eye that was black.

"Yeah. He created demons after he fell," Katinti said. "Then he was locked in the Cage for a long time. After he escaped and then was put back in the Cage, Crowley - a crossroads demon - was in charge. I'm not really sure who was in charge before the Winchesters set off the apocalypse, I didn't have much contact with other demons during that time besides just killing them."

He watched as the witch tossed the knife towards him, grabbing it instantly. Knowing what it was, he clutched it in his hand, watching the scene around him. "Like hell i'm her pet," he said as he noted what the witch said. Though, knowing he shouldn't get any further into the conversation, for he knew nothing good would come out of it, he shut his mouth, furrowing his brows at the scene.

"Frankly, you might not be alive any much longer," she said. Smiling bitterly, tilting her head as the witch continued, she added, "So you're trying to find God, too?" She inquired, staring at the witch intently. She wasn't at all surprised; it seemed as if the whole world wanted to find her 'brother'.

She sighs softly at the threat. "Considering you're planning on wiping the world out, there isn't much else to do. Die, live, unless your brother steps up and does something worthwhile like talk you down from it or kill you, we're all screwed anyway. I figured torturing and killing his favorites would draw him in. Rumor round the grapevine is He reached out to them." She motions to Dean at the same moment that Jer nudges her back in warning. "Didn't He, Dean?" She tilts her head, eying the Winchester.
