Plot:
In the small, quaint town of Addison, Michigan, one wouldn't expect much to occur. After all, most people interpret the phrase, "Good things come in small packages", to refer to towns such as this one. It truly is a beautiful town, with a population in which every one knows one another, and everyone knows one anothers business. Though it can be assumed that that's where the problem comes from. To tourists, a great many believe that this is a town in which everyone is at peace with one another, never fighting. A town in which anything, even relationships, are ones similar to fairy tales. But to the locals, it's common knowledge that not everyone get along, no matter how seemingly perfect a town may seem. But then again, who knows? For the teenagers of Addison, one may come to discover that relationships, and love, can be a fairy tale.

And for those of Addison, having lived in such a small town for so long, one learns to appreciate the simplest things in life, even if it were merely to laugh. That alone, is a gift that keeps giving. For one smile, can lead to another, which could lead to a laugh or even a giggle. And who knows? Maybe that alone can change the course of one's life, forever.

Alice is a kind, and joyful person who loves to have a good time. She has a bit of a spontaneous flare, but at the same time, Alice is rather predictable. From her experiences, in both society and school, Alice is intelligent, though she has a bit to learn in the forms of reality. Her imagination is vast, and from time to time, you can catch her gazing into space, and though you'd see nothing, she sees the world in that small area. Alice is a stubborn person, and she will speak up for what's right, no matter what the consequence, and she won't change her opinion, even when or if she knows she's wrong. Alice is also a big talker, and at times, people wonder if she ever can shut up, or if she'd explode in that process alone. She is almost always found with a smile, a smirk, or a grin, and it's often genuine, though she may fake it at times. She keeps her emotions to herself usually, but she's not afraid to state her opinion, no matter what the consequence. But Alice, though often optimistic about things, can be a bit of a pessimist, as well as a sarcastic sass. Alice enjoyed college, and science was one of her favorite topics, and she is a big science geek, and at times, she can talk incessantly about something that nobody but she cares about. Some people believe that she is a show off, due to this aspect of her personality, but she tries not to be, though she knows that she is at times.

Alice is a social person, but she keeps her friends close, and is loyal to them to the end. She may be social, but she doesn't make many friends, particularly not many boyfriends. In the total of high school and college she's had two boyfriends, both of which were long term relationships. One lasting for a year and three months, the other lasting for three years, her most recent relationship. But over this trip, she hopes to meet the guy of her dreams, even if she's only in her twenties. And hopefully, she'll learn during this trip, who real friends are, and who are the people that truly don't care for her. Not as a person anyways.

Music and sports are some of the most important things in Alice's life, and she clings onto them for fear of losing them the way she lost things of a different form. In this sense, Alice takes joy in the simple things in life, because she finds that from time to time, she's overly analytical, and feels as though she wasted precious time simply thinking to hard about the most ridiculous things.

History:
Alice grew up in a frightening neighborhood, one in which children wouldn't play in the streets, parents feared to leave the home at night, and gangs ruled. When Alice was merely six years old, her younger brother, who was only three years of age, was killed. Her brother, by the name of Jack, had been chasing after a small creature, possibly a squirrel or rabbit, when the accident occurred. After a year or so of depression, and her mother not speaking to anyone, saying no more than yes or no from time to time. On Alice's eighth birthday, her mother discovered the "reliefs", that exist with drinking alcohol. Ever since then, her mother was a large drinker, and she seemed to never be sober. Yet on the rare chance that she was sober, she was crude, and incredibly annoying. So by the time Alice was ten, her older brother, Matt, was her primary care taker.

Around Christmas time, when she was around twelve years in age, Alice over heard the sound of a guitar flowing from her brother's bedroom. She sneaked up to the room, and peeked inside, spotting her brother playing guitar, singing along. His voice wasn't good, but she didn't care. This was one of the most heartwarming things that had ever occurred within the house hold, whether Alice realized it or not. A short time later, Matt found out about Alice's interest in music, and bought her a guitar, and taught her how to play.

Throughout this whole time, Alice's father, yes she had one, didn't seem to notice anything, proving that nothing is impossible. Alice spoke to Matt multiple times about her father, but Matt simply shook his head with a sorrowful smile stating that their father didn't want to face reality, and he stuck his head, 'in the sand.' But around the time Alice was sixteen or so, Matt left for college, leaving Addison. Alice was saddened, but she swore to Matt that she would try to make the best of her life, and that she would go to college, no matter what. She agreed, and after he was gone, music was Alice's only true friend.

Personality: Damon is generally creative. He has a very open mind, and doesn't pay attention often. He has been called artistic, and dreams of becoming an artist. Damon doesn't favor for drawing, but painting. He considers it to be more of a dream than a talent. He tends to keep his talent a secret, and doesn't show people about it unless he's close enough to them.
When it comes to friends, it's easy for him to make them. He chooses to generally not be enemies with people. At school, he tries to focus generally on his image more than his schoolwork. His head is mostly in the clouds during class, which is why he is failing most of his classes.
Damon also has a thing for music. He loves it, and always has a song stuck in his head. He likes to listen to music as he paints.
History: When Damon was 7, his mother was a horrible smoker. She'd actually go through 3 packs of cigarrettes a day, which drove Damon into depression. She'd already been diagnosed with Lung Cancer before, though she continued to smoke.
Damon gathered all of the cigarette's he could find and piled them on the floor. He found a lighter...and, you basically know what happened next. His mother saved him, but his father wasn't so lucky. Damon's mother is has stopped smoking, but he still feels depressed at times. His mother currently has remarried, and works as a Vetenarian. His step-father doesn't get along too well with Damon, so he tries to ignore him. He overheard his parents talking about adopting another child, maybe by next month.
