A shiver tore down his spine as Mettaton pulled him in for a hug, and he remained silent as the tears then rolled down. He hadn't experienced any physical contact for a long time, not since his cousin left, and all he could think to do was stand there limply and awkwardly. "It's been a while..." his voice wavered, "Oh... P-please don't be sorry... You had ambitions to f-fulfil..." he replied, the tears continuing to stream down - and they probably would for sometime afterwards too. At the comment on his new body, he felt himself grow hot and drew himself in, "Uhh.. Y-yeah.." he awkwardly smiled.
After a while, he fell silent, and he suddenly hugged back, his hands clutching to Mettaton's back - it was his way of releasing all his emotions at once, "I... missed you too.. It was pretty quiet around Waterfall..." he uttered, pulling away again.
He then remembered about Ava and turned to look at her as he seemed to grow shy again, trying to hide his teary face with an embarrassed smile, "s-sorry about that." he spoke softly.

cause someone really cares about you. he finished in his head. He plastered a smile on his face and nodded. "Will do bud. Good luck." He squirmed over to the log and sat down. He panted slightly as he inspected his leg. He knew he would have to wrap it up with something. He sighed and unzipped his hoodie. He bit down on the neck of his shirt as he ripped the bottom rim off to make a strip of cloth. He wrapped it around his leg and tied it. He zipped up his hoodie and leaned back.

"Yeah, it's been a really long time..." He said, still hugging Napstabot. Black, oily tears rolled down his face. "I'm so sorry... I didn't tell you... I just left... I didn't even say goodbye or anything..." He sighed. "It must be really different from Hotlands. It's so busy there..." He suddenly remembered someone. "Oh! How's Shyren doing?" He asked. "And, the snails, and your music! Do you have any new tunes? I'd love to listen to them!" He glanced at Ava. "S-Sorry about that..." Mettaton apologized to her.

"THANK YOU!" He said and went towards another nearby forest. He was humming his battle tune and collecting berries. He stored them in his pink cape.

Napstabot
"I'm glad you went on to become a s-star.." Napstabot drew in a shaky breath, happy that Mettaton hadn't forgotten anything about the Waterfall. Napstabot himself hadn't really ventured much further than the Ruins or the Dump, and so he had no idea what Hotlands was like, but it still interested him. "Shyren's doing fine.." he began, glancing to the side, "B-but.. her sister 'fell down', it's hit her hard.." he said sadly. He then tried to lighten the mood again, "But the snail farm is f-fine.. And I'm still making music.. I'd love to show you, b-but all my music stuff is back at home.." he replied, looking back over to Ava. He then wondered how Mettaton would react to her being human, after watching the show often at his house.

Ava Ire
Ava looked back at the two, giving them a small smile. "You don't have to say sorry." Deep inside, part of her hurt. It must have been nice to have someone care so much about you... She pushed these thoughts out of her head, interested in the things Napstabot and Mettaton were talking about. Snails? Hotland? Music? The Underground sounded like a nice place, if not a little bit strange.

Dr. Edward Richtofen
"Don't ve all.." he sighed and shook his head, rubbing his cheeks a bit before scolding the air again
"Shut UP! I am not crying! I am sveating from my eye holes!" he growled and looked around wearily, as if invisible things around him were messing with him
"Impossible! Secrets and Secrets are all zhat are kept.." came his voice
Though he did not move his mouth, his voice had come up in Guam's head
And his eyes flicked to the side as he watched her silently

"I never said you were crying, boy." Guam said somewhat harshly, which was rather unsual, as she wasn't usual harsh to people , and glanced at him once more, though she did notice something unsual with his behavior , he acted as if other things were around him, maybe he was actually crazy. Yet, soon after she heard a voice, the voice sounded exactly like Mr. Nobody, yet his mouth wasn't moving. "What? So you want to know what my secret is ? Guess and if you guess correctly, I'll tell you it...." She said in response.

Dr. Edward Richtofen
He rolled his eyes and rubbed his mouth a bit
"I don't vant to GUESS.. People don't guess secrets.. People don't tell zhem eizzer.." came his voice again in her head
Though his mouth did not move as he watched the horizon
"Plus I vas not talking to you.. Not before.." He said and cleared his throat

"You have a point, secrets aren't something needed to be shared, unless they're important." Guam stated before she tried crossing her arms for a moment, yelping slightly as she did so. "Who were you talking to then?" She asked somewhat suspiciously, was that his secret or was it something else?

Dr. Edward Richtofen
"Zhe voices.." he said after a long pause, blinking and turning to look at her again.
"Zhe voices.. Zaht's who I vas talking to.."
He looked a little sad.. or distraught as he huffed and crossed his arms as well
But when Guam crossed hers, he watched and raised an eyebrow
"Hurt?" he asked and lifted his chin
