Ky looked at his hand, then her and raised an eyebrow at her as he stood up. "You haven't had human or vampire blood in a while, have you?" he murmured as a tiny drop hit the floor.

Ron nodded, examining Ven again for a second before leaning back against the couch with a sigh, thinking over the new information about demons, and puzzled still that he had never noticed anything odd about Grayson, "Wait..is that why he smells weird?" he asked, looking over at Ven and tilting his head.

"Smells weird? What do you mean? Demons give off a sickly sweet scent to vampires, but they don't really have any affect to humans other than 'Is that dude/girl wearing too much perfume/cologne?'. Didn't he ever smell odd to you? Not right? I couldn't figure out the scent until he got really close, like a couple feet away." Ven murmured with a deep sigh as she dipped into his mind for a moment.

Yuki shook her head. "N-no...I've never actually hung out with other vampires before...and like I said...I don't go around humans."

Ky held out his hand a little bit, offering her the small amount of blood that was seeping out of the pad of his finger.

Ron nodded, thinking back to the only time he'd ever seen Grayson outside of his store, when he had first met him, "I think it's just that sickly sweet smell you were talking about," he shrugged, "I never really smelled it before but I did just figure it was cologne or something." he leaned back into the couch.

Yuki blinked in surprise at his offer, but didn't think twice about it as she leaned forward and her tongue flicked out, tasting the blood.

"That's what humans think. If vampires are aware to demons, unlike yourself," Ven paused with a deep sigh as she shook her head, staring down at her hand and the black rings on her fingers. "then they'd know right away. With the fumes in the shop, that damn demon knew how to cover it up, with the paints and clays, even unopened a vampire could smell the fumes coming from it, that's why I took a while to figure it out," she grumbled as she slowly looked at him, then back down at her lap.

Ky felt the corners of his lips curve up into a smile when he felt her lick up the blood, he'd actually forgotten what it felt like for another vampire to drink his blood.

Yuki's eyes widened in surprise at the taste. She had only ever had vampire blood one other time...and that was long ago.

Ky smiled a little more at her reaction to the taste of his blood, and silently watched her as he slowly relaxed.
