Devon was startled for a moment. Do I really like her? I mean like she was my like hell in middle school......well....I don't know......". Gosh that was a hard question.

"That's okay." Carmen sat on his bed, placing her bag carefully on its side. "Not a lot of people like me. Not even when I'm in a mass of people just like me. I'm ignored." her eyes dropped the the carpet, and to her feet, "My parents don't notice me, either. That's why I don't live with them anymore..."

Carmen shrugged back at him. "I live with my uncle and aunt. My parents are in England, most likely having fun without me somewhere. I didn't even get a chance to know them; what they like, their favorite colors, their first names, even..." she sighed softly, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand.

"Well thats sad." Devon muttered slowly. He kinda felt bad for Carmen. "Do you like living with your aunt or uncle?" He never usually was ignored. Just annoyed every few seconds.

"I don't know." Carmen admitted after a couple seconds of pondering, "I've always thought that my parents would know more about me than they would, but I guess I can never really know that for sure. I mean, they give me what I need, but I don't think that they like taking care of me." she frowned at her shoes.
