Miss Chocobo wrote:"Fine. It'll work enough. Just be careful when you're out here. You never know who could mistake you for their actual target." Xari said, then looked around. "Well, hopefully there's no one around..." She muttered, then took a breath. "I'm a witch. Not the kind of green-skinned, warty witches; a girl with some kind of power. Mine happens to be holy. There's eight of us left. One of each element. Holy, Darkness, Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water, Wind, and Earth. That's why we live out here. We're on the brink of extinction. We'd be fine out here, but there's this certain group who hates us. They're called hunters. They're trying to kill us all. Usually for revenge. See, the witches have an oath to kill anyone who find out, so we can prevent it from spreading. But it's gotten out. We can't find a place anymore where people haven't heard of us." She said, then walked towards him, poking him in the chest. "So be thankful I don't fry you right here and now." She said, glaring slightly. "That's the reason why you can't tell. We don't need more people hearing about us. I'm the leader of the group. There are, as I said, eight of us. And I'm tryinng to find some of the others. That's why I asked you earlier about the girls and if you had seen any." She told him, then walked past. "If you want to survive in this place, stay close to someone who lives here. I know the ins and outs of the woods. So do the others. Which can be dangerous if one of them ever went traitor and told hunters where we were. And one of us has left. She's living with the humans. Which is why we have to be careful now. You never know if something could slip." She said, looking around. "If you want to make yourself useful, come on."

Timbrel kept looking around frantically, knowing there was someone there. He finally seen what he was looking for. Someone behind a tree. He started to run towards them, sword still drawn. "I finally found you...." He muttered under his breath.

Talyr put in the tape, then stood up. He walked back to the couch, grabbing the remote, and pressing play. He plopped down at the end of the couch nearest the small end-table.
