Maria hummed as she came up to the house when she saw someone by the door she tensed and dove behind a tree. hoping that he did not see her.

"No, in fact I'm fine with leaving now," Selene said with a light sigh

Ryu cocked his head, puzzled as she dove behind a tree upon seeing him. With his brow creased, he crossed the porch, climbed down the stairs and headed towards the girl, circling 1/4 around the tree to see her.

seeing that he was coming towards she backed up and tripped over a fallen log, screaming bit she fell on her butt.

Ryu stepped back, a look of shock on his face, then he lowered his head to hide his smile, then straightened, and bent down, holding his hand out to help her. "I-I am very sorry, I didn't expect that reaction," he said, smiling.

Maria looked at the hand and scootd away from it and asked "aren't you a hunter"

Ryu cocked his head. "Hunter? Like a witch hunter? Good god, no. Why would I be?" he asked, putting his hands up, and opening his vest to show he had no weapons and meant no harm.

Maria stared at him with her golden eyes and said "oh, I thought you where"

"It's okay, you have reason to, I hear these woods are crawling with hunters," he said, once again extending his hand to help her up.
