Lia groaned. She could think of 101 ways to escape, but all of them involved getting beyond THAT FREAKING DOOR.
Which was locked.
She KNEW that she could probably use her powers to GET the key, but she had no idea where it was or how to locate it. Aside from the fact that Talyr probably had it near him. But she could bring back several objects that were near Talyr- or, she assumed, going on the theory that he would be in his room- and none of them would be correct. Even if she did know where it was, she might get the wrong thing, anyway.
Something that she really should've practiced.
And, since she couldn't morph into something or anything like that to get under the door, she had two options: one would be to try to use her powers to pick the lock,
which she couldn't-or didn't think she could- do,
Or break the door down, which would make a lot of noise.
Eventually, she just flopped down on the floor, and moaned quietly.
"This is bull." she whispered to the floor.
