"Well, you did ask." Dominik replied with a light shrug. "See how far asking nicely can get you?" He asked with a smirk, mainly aimed towards Xari. Xari just sighed, flustered, then started up. "Subrina. Come here." She told the water witch sternly.

"Eh, floor's more comfortable than some places." Talyr said, then looked around. "Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if you tried to steal the key from me. It's not like I left the door unlocked. I locked us both in here, but I have the key with me." He said, then stood. He unlocked the door, then opened it. "I'd taunt you, but I have no motivation..." He muttered as he started out the door. "Well, I'll be back in the morning with breakfast. It'll probably be a bowl of cereal, unless I feel like making you toast."

Subrina looked at her and walked over to her blankly

Lia shrugged again.
"Eh, okay. See you in the morning. And taunting is cruel, man. You seem to be a nice person. The two don't fit. Goodnight." she adjusted herself on the bed so that she would be more comfortable. Not like it mattered- if she couldn't sleep, she couldn't sleep. That was it.

"I can be whatever I want. And taunting is always fun. Especially when you toy with the victim's freedom." Talyr said with a shrug, then closed the door. He didn't respond with a "Good night" or anything, and just walked towards the steps. He trudged up the steps, careful to be quiet so not to wak his parents who would be extremely mad at him if he woke them. He couldn't wait until he was able to move out without feeling guilty.

Xari watched Subrina with a careful gaze. "So, Dominik says that you let Timbrel go. And he says that he isn't lying, as he saw the whole thing... You also gave him his sword back..." She said, then sighed. "I hope you know what you've done. You've put us all in danger. Someone could be dead by tomorrow morning. If he does come back as an enemy, we will have to kill him. There is no exception."

Subrina bowed her head "Yes Xari... I am sorry..." she said {gtg bye}

Lia's eyes narrowed at the ceiling when she heard 'taunting is always fun'.
No it's bloody well not! Especially when it's YOU who's being taunted.
"You can be whatever you want, huh," she muttered, so quietly that only she could hear it.
"Well, if you want to be a total *****t, don't let 'it' get in your way." she changed the pitch of her voice slightly to mimic that of a former...rival. Lia hated being referred to as an it. Just because she was a witch didn't make her any less of a person. To top it off, she felt like slapping Talyr so hard that he would fall unconscious- and she would steal the key. She hadn't even been planning on it before, unaware that he had it on him. Now her temper was really starting to flare. There was no way that she'd get any sleep...
Fortunately, being the witch of wind, if she had just a bit of restraint, nothing happened when she was angry. If she didn't, there would be consequences. Was there going to be any 'toying' with her freedom? She hoped that he was bluffing.
Didn't really think so, though.
She reviewed, mentally, what she knew about him:
Family is poor, parents work at fast food places. Albino- very sensitive subject. Remember that. Went through a lot of teasing in school- yet he still thinks that it'll be fun to do the same to me? Bleh. she made a bit of a disgusted face, and resumed thinking about her earlier plans, hopes, of escape. How hard could it be?

Xari sighed. "We won't go looking for him. But as I said, if he comes back, we'll have to kill him." She said, then started towards the stairs again. "I'll announce your punishment tomorrow morning. Until now, just stay in your room. I'm going to have to keep an eye on you for now, of course."

Talyr trudged into his room, then set his sword on the floor. He plopped onto his bed, then stared at the ceiling for a while. It wasn't too long before he finally felt himself drifting into sleep once again. He would've never forgiven himself if he fell asleep in, of all places, the prisoner's room. Since he had a key on him, that wouldn't be good. Before he drifted off, he decided he'd take Lia back to the woods to tell the other witches about her, and what he'd take in order to release her.

Maria sat on her bed and silently made a shadow screen. She sighed and just began to watch. As she watch she began to cry for not telling Xari the whole truth. Maria wanted to tell what happened and how she let Timbrel get away but she couldn't.

Subrina walked up to her room and sat in her bed and then fell asleep
