"Yeah, I do have a question. Do you have a group? Are you alone?" Carl wanted to confirm that she wasn't part of that psycho group. Even though she didn't look like it, better safe than sorry. And it doesn't really matter how you look anymore anyways. "I know I don't have to trust you. Because I don't." He wondered why she had a random feeling she could trust her. Maybe she's crazy too, like that other group, but not murderous crazy. Carl shifted his weight around, putting most of it on his uninjured leg, cringing slightly at the pain

Lauren

"They're just tired, ya know?" Lauren whispered, pressing her lips to his cheek. "They care for you but there's so much going on." She mumbled, rubbing his back. "Go to sleep, alrigh'? I'll be here when you wake up."

Gabriel

He jumped back, his eyes widening and staring at Alex. "Who are you?!" He asked, trying not to sound scared.

I was put out by the question. Not sure how to answer it. I was alone by technical terms, even if my brother was still out there somewhere. "Alone." Even though her brother could be out there. It was the truth. He had been gone for a few months, so besides my animals, i was truthfully alone.
She stared at the ground as she spoke, wandering how far he had ventured, if he was in a safe place, if he had found anyone, or more importantly. If he was alive. "I have a place though. But it's just me and my animals. "

Alex || 15
"My name is Alexander, but I go by Alex, and you are ?" Alex said as he looked at the man. He glanced at the book. "Is that a bible? I haven't read since it began ... " he looked to the side, slightly ashamed, though i was still a firm believer. Even though the earth had pretty much been destroyed, i knew God didnt do evil. And that this may have been something man did. It didn't matter anyway. This was the world now. A deadened land with sparse life. Maybe this was nature's idea of dimming the human population down. I wanderedhow this man found peace. He seemed so calm and worry free. Even with the dead all around.

Daniel
"Mhmm." He curled up in a ball next to Lauren, putting his head on her lap. Daniel stared ahead blankly for a few minutes, daydreaming, before snapping back to reality. He yawned and closed his eyes, his head still resting on Laurens lap

Carl
He thought for a minute, narrowing his eyes at Elise. Carl wanted to make sure that she wasnt part of that other group. She had also mentioned she was alone with her animals, and Carl didn't see any animals when he was taken there. He didn't see anything at all there really, though. "Can I check it out? You might need help getting back, anyways.." Carl mostly just used that as an excuse to get her to let him come. He ignored the fact that he had been shot, with no medical attention at all, but he didn't say anything.

"Of course. It's just a bit upstream. " she looked at him "you can dig around the medicine box I have for anything you need. My mother used to work in a hospital" she said, looking at his wounds again. She'd have to take care of her own wounds once she returned home. "Can i please take my bow?" she pleaded finally, not being able to stand being away from her bow any longer. she didn't care so much about her pistol. It only brought me bad memories. But you never know when you need one.

Carl
He thought for a moment, finally tucking his knife back in his belt "Fine." Carl stepped forward and picked up the gun, checking to see if there was any ammo, and there wasn't. "There's not even any bullets in here?" He tossed the gun on the ground next to her bow. His leg where he had been shot stung, a lot. Carl almost stumbled over, his vision dizzy, but he caught himself "Lead the way?"

"I never use it, it's just that most people cower at a gun. I only have one box left." She watched as he tossed it over and nearly fell over. I"er..Do you need any help?" She spoke as she leaned over to toss her bow and quiver on her back. she looked at him and reached a box from her pack and picked up her gun. Then she handed both to him "here".

Carl
"Yeah, pointing a gun at someone usually works, loaded or not.." Carl was slightly out of breath, but he kept telling himself he was fine. "No, I'm fine.." Carl took the gun from her hands and tucked it in his belt where his old gun usually was. He felt slightly nauseous, but ignored it, standing up straight again

Lauren

She smiled and rubbed his back, sighing. "I promise.." She whispered, even though she knew that he couldn't hear her anymore. Looking up, she sighed and shook her head "He's for bad timing..." she mumbled, pulling the hat on top of her head down a little.


Gabriel

He was still unsure is the boy, Rick was always so cautious. Maybe he could be like Rick... Haha. "Gabriel..." He mumbled and then looked down at the bible in his hands, nodding. "It's a bible..." he muttered.

(Okay so apparently I can't help but talk in 3rd person. So I'll be doing that from now on. As you can see... I write more with it lol)

Elise led this boy upstream toward her home, limping on her injured ankle, trying to stay upright like he was, after she retrieved her knife from the bush. He was obviously lying about being alright. Taking his pace was easy, considering they both had injuries. They came across the gate rather quickly. Elise pulled the key from her pocket and unlocked the latch then opened it. "Welcome to paradise" Elise said sarcastically. She then turned to face the house, two stories with six bedrooms. She lead him to a small enclosed porch on the side of the house and opened the door, revealing how chilly it was inside. She then opened one of the two cabinets to reveal its contents (like 3ft tall). There wasn't a whole lot left due to the apocalypse, but there was enough. "Aspirin is better for pain, but it thins your blood, I'd opt for the Ibuprofen. " then Elise opened the other one to reveal a few assortment of bandages on top and some medicines on bottom. "The.medicines here are for animals. But the bandages go either way." After explaining all this to him, Elise picked out a wrap and began wrapping it on the ground "I can do yours for you if you'd like"


Alex || 15
Alex realized the man did not truthfully like his presence. He could tell the man, Gabriel, did not really want him there. He wasn't sure what to say or do. It was a man in the woods. And he hadn't had human contact in a few months. So he wasn't sure how to properly start and keep conversations going in these times. Or rather, he wasn't sure if he should. He glanced at the man again before wandering if he should just continue his way. "God has inspired you, tell me your secret to peace? "
