Aoi walked with his head down sniffing the air for food, he tripped over a big rock. He landed on his stomach, he looked at the rock his ears went back, his fangs showing, "Stupid Rock...."

Sylvia walked through the town centre, Farrel at her side. It was lunch time, and lots of people were out buying things. One stall, in particular, the butcher's stall, was very busy. She wasn't surprised; he was known for his meat. She looked at the stall longingly. Itt was lunch after all, and she was hungry. An explosion of angry words drew her attention back to the butcher's stall. A customer had dropped a cut of meat, presumably before they'd paid for it, given the fuss the stall holder was making. The meat was promptly snatched up by a hungry fox.
The next stall along was a fruit and veg one. Sylvia picked up two apples, and looked expectantly at Farrel.
"How much money have we got left?"

Sylvia was looking at me as askingly. Clever, she knew I couldn't say no to her when she looked like that. Reluctantly I pulled out the pouch with our meagre amount of money in. Two silver coins paid for the apples.not much left now. I told this to Sylvia, taking an apple at the same time.
"We'll have to get jobs," was her reply. Trust her. A job'd be easy for her, with her wings and wind powers. Not that she could show anyone, but still...
Now she was looking concernedly at a boy, who'd tripped. Normally, I wouldn't be bothered (his fault for tripping), but something made me interested. His fangs, maybe?

Anku had finished th joint qickly, it was the most I'd had in a long time. I ran out of the alley, their was something, something unnormalish in the air. The smell of another cannine. A wolf? where? pahaps it was hiding somewhere. She looked over a couple buying apples. They didn't have much mouney. Anku sighed. She was just to kind. I trotted detemindly past the variouse stalls and shops. I couln't steal mouney, they'd probaly work out I was an unormal. And that would just be wrong anyway. So she picked up lose change, puting under her touge, pretending she thought it was food and then droped it. Eventualy she had enough silver salivery disks to be in danger of swallowing them. So she headed back to her ally, deposoted the lot. And got behind a bin, after making shure no one was watch, she transformed. Shocks of red hair fell over brown eyes and pale skin. I changed. (I always left a pile of cloaths hear), hiding the tail under my trowsers and my ears under a head band. I picked up the slimey silver, put it in my poket. I walked though a door. (Witch had a back door to the ally, exactly why I was renting it.) I exsited though the frount door, it fooled everone every time. Anku raced down the parth, she got to the place where the couple was. Pretending to browse a nearby book stall, she followed them, changing stalls whever she needed to. I will do this until they either noticed or went somewhere private I could give them the mouney. If I did it in public, people may get suspiouse of a teenage girl handing over a couple of handfuls of silver coins.

_-Keoni-_

Keoni walked around silently, her non-visible ears twitching at the sounds of the town. Her eyes narrowed as she could hear someone growl. She shook her head before heading towards the butcher for food. She felt her tail wrap tighter around her as she looked around. That is where she saw it, a unnormal hunter. A female one at that.

.*Lei*.

Lei kept one of her hands on her sword and looked around, yawning. "..so..bored." she muttered, shaking her head. She looked around before feeling her stomach. She headed to a stall and bought 2 apples. She handed over the coins and left. He hair swinging behind her.

Anku stoped sharply. A hunter, it was market day, their would be hunters about. But, why did she have the misfortune of meeting one here? now? Anku qickly hurried on. She went over the couple, standing right by them. She wispered to them "The park, I'll meet you their" reaving a look from the stall owner. At that Anku ran to the park, it was private, away from people. They were all sealing or buying goods down at the market. So the city was fairly desserted.

Farrel tugged on her elbow, guiding Sylvia away from the fallen boy. She thought it was probably for the best; if he was an 'Unnormal', like her, it would make it easier for thr Hunters, and if he wasn't, he'd think them wierd. They continued down the street, Sylvia munching quietly on her apple, and stopping every so often to gaze at the pretty trinkets on the stalls.

"Sylv, don't look, but someone's following us," Farrel suddenly whispered. Sylvia automatically looked. Almost immediately she saw the red-headed girl, who, under closer inspection, did seem to be following them.

"Why?" Sylvia asked him back.

"I don't know, do I?" I replied, exasperated. "But," I moved closer, "maybe she's a Hunter. I saw Sylv's eyes wided and she looked round at the girl again. I nudged her. "Don't look! She might not be. Keep walking." Thankfully, she did as I asked, and we scooted away down the street. Not five minutes later, though, the girl was beside us.

"The park, I'll meet you there," she whispered. I started. What?

Sylvia had overheard what the girl had said.

"We should go," she told Farrel.
"What makes you so sure?" he asked back suspiciously. Sylvia just shook her head in a way that said 'I just know,'. So, with a slightly nervous Farrel, they made their way to the park. The girl was already there, but there were no other people around. If she was a Hunter, this could go bad quickly.

Anku looked up, nervoisly. She then took a deep breath an calmed herself. "My name is Anku, I saw you don't have much mouney. And well" I produced handfuls of silver coins. "I'm not a theif. Don't worry." I looked at them they were probably confused. "Well, umm. Bye. See you around." I began to walk away.

"Wait"! Sylvia cried. Farrel looked at he in surprise. "Why?" Her favourite question.

"What she means is, 'Why would you do something nice like this? You don't know us..." I trailed off. We couldn't accept this from her. I looked at Sylv. She seemed to trust Anku when she said she hadn't stolen the money, but what if it was a bribe?

"Ask her to prove it," Sylv whispered to me.
I repeated this to the girl. "Prove that you aren't trying to harm us. Please," I added on the end after some hesitation.

Anku hesitated. Sweat beading her forhead and running down her neck, if she didn't do something soon, she would transform. And then it would all be over. I wiped the sweat off my forhead, turned to face them. "To be honist. I'm just realy kind..." Anku was panicking. It showed in her eyes. The only way she could prove it was if she transformed... It was begining. Anku turned and ran. But as she existed the park, a person wandered by, it was to much. She changed form, and collapsed. That's what happened when she transformed from panic. A pile of clothes next to the body of the red fox.

"To be honest, I'm just really kind..." the girl blurted, before running away, looking panicked. Sylvia darted after her, not stopping to confer with Farrel. She didn't know how, but she just knew that there was...something more to this girl. And she wanted to know what. She could hear Farrel pounding along behind her, and could see Anku at the edge of her vision. She couldn't help but think how much faster it would be if she could just use her wings. Of course, this made her think about how long had been since she flew, and what if felt like, and how much she wanted to fly again...

Sylv was slowing down. She must be thinking about something again. By the looks of things, she'd lost the girl. Luckily I hadn't. We'd just left the park, and I overtook Sylv, grabbing her hand and towing her along behind me (she was so light!). Suddenly, the girl dissapeared. When we reached the place where she'd vanished, there was only a fox, laid on the floor. For some reason, this made Sylv very excited.

"Fox!" Sylvia exclaimed. Farrel looked at her questioningly. "Anku-fox." she repeated slowly, as if he was stupid. When he still looked puzzled, she hissed "'Unnormal'!" in his ear, pointing to the pile of clothes beside the fox, then sat back on her heels, looking pleased with herself.
