Farrel tugged on her elbow, guiding Sylvia away from the fallen boy. She thought it was probably for the best; if he was an 'Unnormal', like her, it would make it easier for thr Hunters, and if he wasn't, he'd think them wierd. They continued down the street, Sylvia munching quietly on her apple, and stopping every so often to gaze at the pretty trinkets on the stalls.
"Sylv, don't look, but someone's following us," Farrel suddenly whispered. Sylvia automatically looked. Almost immediately she saw the red-headed girl, who, under closer inspection, did seem to be following them.
"Why?" Sylvia asked him back.
"I don't know, do I?" I replied, exasperated. "But," I moved closer, "maybe she's a Hunter. I saw Sylv's eyes wided and she looked round at the girl again. I nudged her. "Don't look! She might not be. Keep walking." Thankfully, she did as I asked, and we scooted away down the street. Not five minutes later, though, the girl was beside us.
"The park, I'll meet you there," she whispered. I started. What?
Sylvia had overheard what the girl had said.
"We should go," she told Farrel.
"What makes you so sure?" he asked back suspiciously. Sylvia just shook her head in a way that said 'I just know,'. So, with a slightly nervous Farrel, they made their way to the park. The girl was already there, but there were no other people around. If she was a Hunter, this could go bad quickly.
