Lily giggled and nestled her head up against his, grinning. "I'd ask you to race, but your shoulder probably pains you, doesn't it?" she asked as she watched him. "Hopefully that heals up soon though."

Rustmoon was laying down, half buried in leaves with his rusty pelt blending in. "Hm?" He murmured and lifted his when he heard Rose calling his name. "Over here." He grumbled and placed his head back down with a huff.

"It does a bit. It'll heal soon, don't worry." Suncloud murmured, licking her neck fur some more. Rose walked over to him, barely able to see him. She sat a small distance from him, thinking he needs space. "Are you okay?" She asked softly.

"I think that I need a hug." Rustmoon sighed and closed his eyes tiredly. "I knew that this would happen at some point... I knew that eventually Aaron would decide that he hated me. Now all I'm waiting for him to do is call me out, get his ass kicked, learn his place in the world is far away from me, and then leave. Just how things work."

"That's good. I'd hate for you to be in pain forever," Lily said as she rose to her feet and shook out her fur. Actually, she was beginning to like being a wolf. She grinned at him in her wolfish way and rolled onto her back, looking up at the sky.

Rose shifted and Ami walked over to him, she hugged his neck as much as she could. "He doesn't hate you hunny. He's just mad at himself." She said, kissing his ear softly and hugging him close. Suncloud smiled and yelped as she stood up, she rolled off his back with a thud.

Lily jumped slightly when Suncloud had fallen with a thud. "Aw, I'm sorry," she said as she moved to his side and showered his face in licks. She smiled shortly after, her tail wagging. "You're okay, right?"

"that's a little stalker-like, eh Lindin? how do you know all this anyway?" Ryan was curious. "really i just want to know where she lives so i can talk to her."

Rustmoon's ear twitched when Ami kissed it and he sighed. "You're upset that I yelled at him. I'm sorry Ami... Aaron just needs to learn how to take care of himself in the real world. When I was his age, I'd learned how to boost a car, take care of twelve people at a time, and do the best I could to keep all of them safe. Other than when the experiments started, I did my job." He grumbled.
