Cambria erupted from the ground, the long snake wrapping around Gaster and constricting him, like an above-ground Boa.

{ Cambria has...an assortment of very weak powers, and one powerful one, which is the snake. }

Gaster let out a strangled cry and immediately began to struggle against his attacker, trying to keep his injured arm out of Cambria's reach.
"Cambria?" He cried out, startled and fearful. "I-Is that you?" His words came out in gasps as the thing constricted around him.

He immediately released his grip, the oily snake turning into a skeleton with black streaks tearing down his face. Cambria sniffled, hugging his knees, the tear marks making black lines in his shirt. "I just wanted a family.." He muttered, his voice cracking jurasticly. (Jurasticly?)

Gaster took a moment to catch his breath, his bones rattling together as he sucked in deep metaphorical lungfulls of cold air, before letting himself kneel down next to Cambria.
Very tentatively and gently, he pulled the skeleton into a one-armed embrace.
"I know, I'm sorry. I should have seen that earlier." He warbled softly.
"I'm... I'm not sure if you want this, and I know... I know we're not the family that you want, but..." He took in another deep breath.
"There's always room for one more in our family. Room for you."

Cambria leaned into Gaster, his black tears falling onto the scientist.

Gaster began to rub Cambria's back with a bony hand.
"I'm sorry I cannot give you the family you want, but I swear I will make it up to you... son."
He said the word gently, wearing it in, and wearily, cautious of Cambria's reaction, but honestly. He was determined to keep his word.
