She was now perched upon the front counter of the mystery shack gift shop. Her book was still in her hands as she read the words of vampires and werewolves. She caught the sound of a loud commotion outside. She closed the book before walking outside. She could see a bunch of people, though, she knew not the names of them all. Dipper, Mabel, Stanley, Stanford, and Soos were the ones she could put names on. She walked over, waving her hand as she approach. She stood beside Stanly, not minding the stench. "Hey, welcome back."

Dipper grinned, taking the journal from his uncle. He looked at it with wide eyes, holding it in his hands. He made sure to be delicate, like it would fall apart if he wasn't. This was a thoughtful gift, unlike the usual matching socks and such he and mabel usually got. "Thank you Grunkle Ford!" He could fill it with his own research now - it would definitely go to good use. He slipped it into his vest. "And thanks for the welcomes, you guys. The shack looks great, Soos." He smiled, glancing around the shack. It still smelled like cheap nick-nacks and Stan's favorite Canned Meat, er... whatever it was called. Just as they left it. He smiled at Melody who was waving behind the counter, then turned to Soos. "It looks really great, man." Now he finally really looked at Pacifica, evaluating her. Her clothes were too tight, you could tell, but it was only if you paid attention. Were they too poor now to get her decent clothes or something? He was sure Mabel would be willing to make her a thousand sweaters.

Stanley shrugged as Soos mentioned the keychain. "It's nothing, Soos." A quick glance around the shack was enough to make him sigh contentedly. "Good to be home."

"You're welcome," he smiled, remembering all the memories from last Summer while giving a pat on the head to Mabel and Dipper. Suddenly, the sleeping dart hit in right in the back. Ford was frozen with shock, not being able to tell if he had just been shot with a gun or something. He coughed a little until shortly falling backwards into a deep slumber.
