(I am aware. But your characters are there... surely they would have heard the explosion, and then there's just this girl in the room. And despite the huge amount of rubble and debris, she doesn't have so much as a scratch.)

Saphira got off the table and growled at the rubble, her fur was on end as she circled, she looked back at Case then at the girl, shifting once more she changed into a Ethiopian Wolf and barked at the girl. She was very uneasy at this point and would do anything to protect Case.

CASE
He flinched and his eyes widened at the explosion
"What was that.. Are you okay?" He called over Saphira, hopefully to anyone else alive behind the debris
The dust caught up to him, making his eyes water and he coughed softly

Saphira was still, her eyes were locked on the girl, " I'm fine..." She said after growling, after a moment she moved backwards to Case and sat infront of him in case anything happened.

He nodded and moved to lean forwards, sliding off the counter and balancing himself on his one leg while using Saphira as a support, wrapping an arm around her
"Go forwards.. Let's make sure nobody else was in there.." He said and guestured to the room

The girl freezes, hands pressed against the keyboard, having clearly not noticed the other people in the room. Turning slowly, she pressed her back against the console, barely even breathing. "Uh... I... Uh... I can explain. It's... Uh... I'm not supposed to be here... I'm here because of an accident." She stammers, brushing dust from her arms. "A-and I'll help... I hope dad isn't under there..." She adds, looking at the rubble and debris again.

CASE
"I can see that.. Are you okay? It was quite an explosion of sorts.." He said and managed to hobble forwards, catching himself on furniture and walls with just the one leg
"What's your name? And who's your father, miss?" He asked

"I'm fine, it'd take more than an explosion to hurt me. My name's Rose Stark... My dad's Tony Stark... only... not the one from here... it's complicated. I'll try to explain everything... but we'd better see if anyone's under that rubble." Rose explained, and then took a hesitant step forward, carefully looking him up and down at the same time. "I can probably fix your leg too." She added.
