Samantha nodded and walked to the door. She opened it and, with her blue paw, pointed to another door that would lead out. She lead to the outside door and held it open for the others.

Tara and Foxxy scurried through the open door. Suddenly, a thought came to Tara's mind.

Foxxy, reading Tara's mind, looked up at Samantha. "Samantha? Where's the rest of the avians?"

"What do you mean? Like ALL of them in the lab?" Samantha asked.

"Like, Grace and Sparrow and Kiro and....Kai? They're my friends...I'd really like to get them out too." Foxxy looked utterly depressed as he looked up at Samantha. "Can I go back in and help them?"

"Of course. Im staying here till all are out. Call me if you need help." Samantha said. She had to admit the door was heavy but she wouldn't budge till all the avians were out and flying.

Grace limped after the others, reveling in the smell of fresh air as she limped out, spreading her wings as far as she could, enjoying her new-found freedom
