Could it really be who she thought it was? "Kanna?!" she shouted in a worried tone. For a moment she forgot that Crane was present and allowed herself to pull her sword from its place. "I must go see who that shriek belongs to. It may be someone I know," she said as she looked over her shoulder at the older man. "You are more than welcome to join me if you desire." She didn't want to leave the man behind, but by the sounds of the shriek, she wanted to make haste to assure that if it truly was her son that he wasn't in danger as she feared he might be. Without waiting for a response, the dragon kin pushed herself forward and darted off upstream toward the sound.

Lucas nodded, not minding to take the lead at all. It was something he had become accustom to actually. Back home on his his own adventure he had been the leader of his small team as hard as that was to believe. He had always decided which route they'd take and what they needed to avoid or even fight in order to progress toward their end goal. Sure Kumatora and Duster had never fully enjoyed following the younger boys lead, but he had been their only chance at standing against the Pig King and the Masked Man since he was one of only two people who could pull the needles to release the dark dragon. Pushing those thoughts aside the boy reached over his shoulder to slide his stick into his bag before beginning to walk in the direction of the valley.

Maybe there was a satellite uplink around here somewhere. There was a large building to the north, which she assumed was the grand hall, and set off towards it, beckoning for Lawrence to follow.

A flash of confusion stole through Maven's brain, but she ignored it. That could wait until her brain wasn't being hijacked. Now the program was just trying to brute-force its (her?) way through Maven's attack barriers, and it was apparently working. That wasn't good. The agent's mind raced, trying to find a way to stave off the program's assault, before an idea struck her. She couldn't let it house itself in her head, but there might be somewhere else for it to go. Throwing up another wall of attack barriers, Maven dove into her Therm-optic barrier projector, linking it to her cyberbrain as an auxiliary storage device. Now there hopefully would be enough space in her head for the both of them, and the program would stop trying to melt her consciousness. Maybe then she could get to figuring out exactly what the hell it was.

A quiet chuckle that came from Chara turned to a crazed laughter in responce to Kanna reactions. He had no idea, did he? "There is a VERY good reason for you to be scared of me. I am not your friend. I am no one's friend. And who would even want to be MY friend?" They said, their red eyes seemed to gain a slight glow and their voice started to sound almost demonic. Although this mostly returned to normal upon their question.
"I can assure you that I am quite alright. You may not be if you get on my nerves too much. For now I will keep you alive. At least until we find someone else..." The child blinked, causing their eyes to return to normal and let their smile drop. Chara pocketed their knife, trying to get back the more innocent or normal facade from before. No need to rush into this now. They should go back to their original plan for now. Tag along. Kill whoever else they can meet. Kill the boy. Kill EVERYONE else. Destroy this world...
They suddenly pulled the heart locket out from under their sweater looking at it for a few seconds and mumbling something to themself before just letting it dangle over their chest.

Kanna trembled where he stood, his mind drowning out most of the sounds around him, his eyes also tearing up in the process. How could someone he believed to be sweet, innocent, and a little weird be so twisted and demented on the inside? The boy couldn't believe it, as seen by the shocked, and even hurt, expression on his face.
"I-I...I still want to be your friend...e-even though you probably don't like me..." The dragon kin mumbled as he rubbed his eyes, ears drooping slightly. "I-I just thought you seemed lonely, m-maybe it was just me...b-but could you bare w-with me for just a l-little longer?" Kanna's voice dropped down to a whisper as half of his face was covered by the rather large navy blue fabric wrapped around his neck. As the knife was put away, Kanna visibly relaxed, however, his hurt expression remained. Chara's true colors finally bled through, which made Kanna be even more careful as he nodded to their words and continued onward, trying to keep distance from the other. It looked as if he would cry any moment.

Personality: Highly Sarcastic, High Morals originally, yet they are dulled over time. Extremely Sadistic, unless the injuries are towards him instead of others. During a war of monsters against humans, he became friends with the first human to meet the monster's hideout named Chara. After befriending her fully, she was killed. Flowey, at the time known as Asriel, tried to fulfill her final wish of being lied in the flower garden, yet was shot on the way there. He managed to struggle to it, and collapsed dead within the flowers, along with his best friend. Later, a scientist injected determination into the flower garden, and it reincarnated Flowey. He remembered all his memories, yet couldn't feel passion on his own. He grew bored and began to try to help people, yet became annoyed and bored with that too. Later, he found out he could reset the game, and began murdering people and resetting to see what would happen. One day, after a reset, he lost the power to reset due to another's determination over weighing his own. ( Frisk ) He tried to kill her, yet in the end failed and became Asriel a final time, befriended her once more and apologized, before becoming a flower again.

sans took a deep breath and threw the cigarette away, breathing out a last puff of smoke. he'd be shouting cuss words right now if they weren't planning to stay hidden. he changed his frown into his usual nervous smile. "that's a wonderful idea." he said and stood up, looking around the town for something rather specific. his left eye glows red as he focuses his energy on something- and teleported it here. a bunch of clothes and a hide suites for a cloak. also a hood. sans fit them on and pull the hood over his head, making sure every part that is deemed 'weird' for him is covered. there are leather gloves too, isn't that wonderful. with that, he jumped off the side of the building and looked up. "it's silly, but it's the best we have." he whispered, but loud enough for Xenia to hear and the passersby to not notice anything. "by the way, last time i checked i'm still alive." he remarked and showed a tounge conjured of magic at zenia, but with a rather bored expression instead of taunting. "just stay up on the roof i'll stroll around town." and with that he's off.

sans isn't exactly the type to do this, yes that is correct. but he have something to get back home to and he will. yeah sure his brother break his ribs, head, etc all the time and he had to heal it by himself but that makes him stronger, he knows papyrus' way of showing that he loves sans. the trainings are rather silly and always ended up papyrus shouting 'GODDAMIT SANS' and kicking him away and him pacing back and forth, you know, the usual. sans always messed up and always gets beaten up but if his brother had been soft he would've died ages ago in snowdin, not knowing how to protect himself in a monster eats monster world.
