Kanna continued to go on and on until he noticed them back away.
“A-Ah! I’m sorry! Don’t be scared! I’m not scary! I’m not!” Kanna said, backing away a bit as well. He was never known as being scary unless in his dragon form, so this confused him. Maybe they were shy…? Hearing Chara state that theywould be okay with going with him, Kanna couldn’t help but jump in joy. “Yippee!! Come on, let’s going, Buddy!” Kanna settled on the nickname ‘Buddy’ for now, seeing that it would be mean to not call someone by their name. He then began heading north, his bare feet padding against the ground quietly. Kanna then looked back at Chara, motioning them to follow. “I heard a few voices up ahead while we were talking earlier. Maybe they’re still there!”[/color] Kanna shouted afterward, his elongated ears twitching in response to his words.

earl watches the child use... magic? he wasn't sure what it was, maybe arc energy. whatever it was, he was intrigued. earl watched it, trying to figure out how he used it, what it did, but then he stopped using it. frowning a bit, he focused on the boy's speech. nodding, he summoned his ghost. “alright,” he said to it, “can you find any towns near here? come back and find me when you find something.” the ghost nods. “where should i look to find you?” earl shrugs, and the ghost sighs before flying off. earl turns back to lucas. “alright, let's go explore, shall we?”

His eyes followed the ghost Earl had sent off for a moment before it vanished from sight and Lucas snapped back to reality. He blushed slightly in embarrassment, knowing it wasn't like him to get easily distracted like that, but he had never seen anything like the ghost before. It was such a strange thing in his eyes. Deciding to shake off the thoughts of it, the boy tapped his chin as he looked around trying to pick the best direction they could go off in. After a moment, he pulled his hand away from his chin and pointed toward what seemed like a valley in the distance. "Going that way might be a good idea. It seems like there could be a valley and maybe there's a town down there," he said.

Out of habit, the dragon kin rested her hand against the hip where her sword was located and allowed her eyes to look around momentarily. She turned in the direction she thought she could hear voices from and gestured with her free hand in that direction. "I think we'd be best going upstream." If Crane rather go another way, she'd take it into consideration, but if her ears weren't playing with her, then it was safe to say there were people up ahead. How far away they were, she wasn't sure, but they were there.

The claim that they were scared seemed absurd to the child and a growl escaped them as they started pulling their knife out. "If anyone should be scared of anyone here, it is you being scared of me." They mumbled. As Kanna jumped in joy, they paused. "Are you implying that we are friends?" The child asked as they were called 'buddy'.
They followed quietly after being motioned to. Voices meant someone else. And to them someone else meant either humans or monters. Which also meant someone else they could kill... It would be about time they did get some fun around here. They pulled out their knife completely, carrying it by their side now. A smile creeped onto Chara's face, but not much of a friendly one. More of a crazed or malitious smile.

Mary felt a sting. A little flash, and a pinpoint burst of pain. She blinked slightly and cocked her head. "Was that it?" She asked, a blur between curious and sarcastic. "Wait...was that...magic?" She continued, now sounding genuinely confused. Honestly, she'd never felt an attack like that before. She was resistant to magic, and she was pretty sure she'd deflected that, but still...it didn't feel like any spell she'd ever felt or even heard of.

Kanna blinked in confusion as he look at Chara, who appeared to be getting annoyed with him. He noticed they were pulling something out of their pocket, but couldn't quite tell what it was.
"Why would I be scared?" The boy asked before tilting his head. "And of course we're friends! Why wouldn't we be?" Kanna wondered as he rubbed his arms and let out another quiet shiver. Kanna thought he made it clear that they were friends, but maybe Chara didn't want one...well, that was going to change!
Kanna looked back forward, leading them in the direction he heard the voices, but the moment he did so, Kanna realized Chara went silent...maybe something was wrong... Kanna wanted to look back and check on his new friend, but they seemed really annoyed before. The dragon hybrid quickly shook his head before looking back at Chara to see if they were okay. "Hey, Buddy, are you al--" Kanna froze, his eyes widening in surprise at the sight of them. "Wh-Where did you get that knife?!" Kanna looked up at Chara only to let out a shriek from Chara's smile. "H-Hey...are you o-okay? Wh-Why...Wh-What's going o-on...?" Kanna whispered, seemingly having a sensitivity against the way Chara was acting as well as the weapon.

nanashi took a huge step back at dedan did something, a log showed up in one of his bitphones tab, logging what happened. he knows the world he is in is not his for the numbers are different, but this seems like a… game? he chuckles before returning to 'reality' and wondered what just happened, re-reading the log "competence, minute hand..." he muttered and began to wonder the nature of the place he is in.

sans breath(somehow) out a puff of smoke through his nose, annoyed that xenia ignored his suggestion. "tch. whatever." he sulked and draws up his hood, sitting at the edge of the roof and continue to smoke the cigarette silently, trying his best to not be obvious of his location. "are we just going to stay up here until the world turns into ashes. because bloody hell this is more boring than being in my sentry on lookout for humans." at least in snowdin, he get to play poker and watch the calming snow pelt the place white. plus, due to sans' cloth being dark, he is drawing a lot of heat to him, so he is sweating bullet you can say. red bullets. back in snowdin, despite the weather being cold and it's literally all white, he sweats, too, but even if it's autumn here, it's still very hot for his taste.

Kisu didn't know where he was. He was hungry, and cold, and now he was in the middle of nowhere. Where is player?! Panic pumped through his veins, his breathing rapid. He was lost, and he did not like it. What was the human name for it? Fear, yes. Kisu felt only one human emotion, and that was fear, based off his thoughts and opinions. He felt fear a lot, often rather strongly, because, through the offensive terminology, KIsu was a scaredy cat. He swallowed nervously, and looked around with scared scarlet eyes.
