eridan took the opportunity the moment it presented itself. while hakku and the others wrapped themselves in their own conversation, he gingerly shrugged off his cape and scarf. instant regret. quickly he shoved the ugly sweater over his head, only to get his horns stuck in the collar. he grunted with effort, then said some words i can't share because of their vulgarity. he felt the pressure build on his head ornaments and was careful not to break them, but did hear a gut-wrenching rrrrip as one of the lightning-bolt-shaped horns tore through the fabric. he growled his annoyance and finally managed to get his head through, bicolored hair full of static after his adventure within the hoodie. he then hmphed and put his regal cape and scarf back on, haughtily looking around in an attempt to regain any lost pride.

same place." she nodded.
sparki gave a worried look at karamatsu. "y-you fell off
a bridge?? g-geez! a-are you ok? is anything broken? when
was this? who is this guy who pushed you?" the chimera
covered her mouth in worry.

Hakku looked at Eridan. "You could have asked me for help. I can't imagine how hard it is to get a sweater on with horns." She shrugged.

Confused by what Nezha had just said, Karamatsu tilted his head, again, resembling a confused puppy. As Noodle questioned if the others could tag along, he huffed. "More ~*Karamatsu Followers*~ are here, then!" the brunette beamed. Oh, but he alerted Sparkitek. Here comes a lot of explaining.
"Oh? I'm fine," he said, a bit staggeredly. "Osomatsu nii-san simply pushed me into a river. Then, I swam for an hour," he continued, being absolutely clueless that it was such a huge misdemeanor, "and returned home. I wanted to sleep with my brothers, but Ichimatsu-nii's cat was in the way. So I slept on the floor." Shrugging again, he mumbled. "It's nothing compared to getting stabbed, thrown off a roof twice, punched, beaten by brothers, and having your head cleaved through by a Sutabaa menu." Karamatsu said nonchalantly.

"Did they treat you ok? I mean, besides that?" Noodle asked. She hated the way Murdoc always abused 2D, but he never did that to him.. at least, not in front of her.

a little, and then glanced at karamatsu. "...i'm making sure you

hella bad luck..." she crossed her arms. "why didn't anyone
help you? was your mom there? again, are you okay now? and are
you sure?" sparki's ears drooped. "geesh. i thought being
thrown out by my mom was bad." she frowned. "how ya
so chill over this??"

"i got it on, didn't i?" he responded sharply, toying with the scarf with gusto. he half-listened to the history of, admittedly, quite strange abuse from the brunette boy. he tilted his head and sneered under his breath. the mishap with the hoodie had soured his mood significantly, so now he found himself seething with crossed arms.

finally he decided to make a comment. "you've been through hell and back, haven't you? tsk, tsk. at least no one here is goin' to do that kind of stuff...right?" his eyes darted among the others.

Hakku rolled her eyes. "It's not bad to ask for help ya know." She looked at Karamatsu. "So you've had multiple deaths too?" She asked, a bit shocked.
