Reyna glared at Keith as he watched him go. Why doesn't he understand that I've been on the run for a long time and that you can't trust anyone! she thought. She sulked a little distance behind Keith eyeing the man. She saw that he was strongly built and he looked well trained. No matter what, I'm never trusting this guy. she thought. "Fine!" screamed Reyna. She turned on her heels and headed towards the fight. If Keith wants to get arrested, then go ahead! she thought. I'm just going to protect myself by all means! She ran widely into the alleys and stopped. She realized that Keith and Star clearly didn't believe her anymore and had no faith in her. She felt anger boiling inside of her and she turned away from the fight and headed to the Lake Sector. She ran as fast as the wind until she was in a part she didn't know anymore. She was done with Keith and Star. She was DONE with allying with anyone. Finally she fell against a wall and sat down. She didn't need Keith or Star anymore. She could survive just fine by herself. *fade to black*

Star was totally shocked when Reyna loosened the boards that caused the stranger above to fall. She gasped as he came crashing down to the lower area of the docks.
"Reyna!" she exclaimed, "Why did you do that?!"
She ran over to help Keith, shooting Reyna confused look. She'd never done anything like this before. She couldn't believe how paranoid her friend was being. She hovered by Keith, unsure of what to do, if there even was anything she could do. She felt really useless.

Enoch sat up as someone started shouting. Who was that? Wait, that was the boy who had been with his target, and he was coming right for him. For a moment E thought he might be attacked, but the boy and the girl who followed seemed more concerned than anything. The same couldn't be said for his target who exploded out of anger and stormed off.
Crap.
He didn't allow himself to panic though. If he could get in good with the target's friends, that meant he could get to her eventually. This was his way in. What a stroke of luck. Maybe these horrible, rotting boardwalks were good for something after all. He looked up at Keith as he approached him and held out his hand. E hesitated a moment before taking it and standing up. He brushed bits of wood and dust off his ratty coat.
"Thanks," he said, "Man, what the hell happened?"
He glanced up at the hole in the boardwalk and then back at Keith and Star.

Keith bit his lip and looked at Star. He shook his head at her, warning her not to say anything about Reyna, but she probably knew that. "Well... Uhm... You know the Lake Sector. Nothing is very stable! It probably was rotten and never repaired." He scratched the back of his neck nervously. He kicked a stone into the lake then looked up and down at E. "So, it's only polite to tell me your name after I tell you mine." He smiled softly.

Star caught Keith's look and for a moment wondered what it was for before she remembered. Oh, right. Supposedly this guy had been following them, but after Reyna's display she wondered if maybe she was just being paranoid. Whatever. It wouldn't hurt to be cautious.

"Hm? Oh yeah. Sorry, I'm just a bit frazzled," Enoch said, "My friends call me E. Nice to meet you, Keith. Thanks for the hand."
He gave him an innocent smile. Keith sure was friendly for a slum dweller. An unusual find, but it would certainly work for him. Gaining his trust may or may not be easy, but it would certainly be easier than gaining the trust of the obviously vigilant Reyna who clearly trusted no strangers she saw.

(You guys still want Reyna and E to fight in a Skiz fight? Because I'm still down. It's not like neither of them has a motive anymore, lol.)

"The pleasure is mine, E." Keith looked behind him and saw that Reyna was gone. It wasn't a shocker or anything, but it did irritate him some. "Star, do you want to find Reyna?" He whispered too quietly for the man to hear. His eyes darted around nervously.

Star looked at Keith when he turned to speak to her. Oh great. Time to fetch Reyna again. Why was that always her job? Whatever. She nodded and ran off in the direction Reyna had gone.
Where would she go if she were angry? Finding where Reyna was in a place like this seemed almost impossible, but Star felt confident that she could do it. Reyna would probably want to be alone, so she'd go somewhere without a lot of people. Somewhere where she could stew in peace. She started heading down through rows of abandoned or mostly abandoned buildings.
"Reyna?" she called, "Reyna, come on!"

E watched as Star ran off, probably after the target who he had lost quite spectacularly. They would have to catch up later. He picked some more splinters off of his coat and wondered how long it would take to get them all out. He looked at Keith.
"What's wrong with your friend? I thought I heard some shouting," he said.

Reyna woke up. She didn't realize she had dozed a little. She got up and looked around at where she was. It was mainly abandoned. She was about to doze off again when she heard someone calling her name. Star! she thought. Reyna got angry. Why do they think they always have to follow me! she thought. She took off again, away from the voice, careful that Star wouldn't see or hear her. Reyna knew Star wasn't as sharp as her, so she didn't worry. She soon came to a house that was freshly marked by an X. She crept behind it and saw a little trench that was perfect for hiding. She crouched down in it, ready to attack if needed.

Denence was turning in his bed. He couldn't sleep! He decided to go for a walk. He changed his clothes and put on a warm jacket. He also grabbed a few knifes, just in case someone attacked him. He walked through the streets and found himself back at the house that was plagued earlier that day. I never got a chance to look at it, he thought. He went to the back and observed the landscape. Mainly dirt with some trenches deep enough for something large. He came walked around them until he heard a noise from the farthest one. "Hello?" he called out. Denence knew that was stupid to say but sadly 5 seconds later, he was pinned underneath someone who hissed, "If you don't go right now, you won't be able to use those pretty little leg of yours." Denence used his training he had remembered and managed to get out under the attacker. He heard a yelp, a girl yelp, of surprise as he faced her. He got a brief look at her face and it looked familier, yet he couldn't put his finger on it. Next second he felt a deep cut on his shoulder and arm, and the girl was behind him, no in front! I need to get out of here, I'm not ready for an attacker like this, he thought. "I'll be back." he said threateningly. He then turned around and fled, as fast as he could. When he looked back he saw the girl slinking back into the trench, quick as a flash. He took a picture of the girl, and vowed to turn her in for attacking, and for out beating him.

Star sighed in frustration when she got no answer. No one here. Time to move on. She started to turn away, but then she spotted some movement out of the corner of her eye. She turned and saw a man hurrying out into the street with something like a camera in hand. He looked like someone with the plague patrol, but she couldn't figure what he'd be doing out here near a crop of plague houses by himself. Maybe he'd seen Reyna. Seemed like a long shot but it was worth a try.
"Excuse me!" she called, "Hey, wait!"

The boy looked the male up and down slowly. What's it to you? He didn't dare utter those words out loud, but even he couldn't help but be suspicious. He knew Reyna was probably just over reacting about him 'coming for her' but all Lake Sector people can be sketchy. "Oh nothing. Women, right?" He laughed awkwardly then clasped his hands in front of himself nervously. "Erg... Sorry." He apologized for his bad joke. "I don't mean to sound nosy, I promise I have no intention of robbing you like most kids around here, but to break the silence, how many Notes you got?"
